[WrestleMania XXVIII] So long from the sunshine state
I think Gabriel would be easy for them to make succeed by giving him anything to do. He's good in the ring and the kind of wrestler people like to see. If they had given him anything pushing him to get the IC belt from Rhodes would be a good choice, but I don't know if he's got the standing to beat Rhodes and let Rhodes go to main event status.

A solid Gabriel/Bourne feud would save both guys.
And I'm glad Tarver failed. That guy dropped Gregory Irons on his head nearly killing him and acted like a dick about it afterward.

So all Taker had to do was tell Trips that HBK has a bigger dick?

Wow. WWE actually using sound booking logic here. HIAC was the only way to go. It also goes to show you how badass HIAC can be when it's used within the context of a storyline and not just as a shitty gimmick PPV.
Also, those "prove it" chants had to be piped in. They've been doing that a lot lately.
Its a live event, dude.
Yep, and it's far from unheard-of for chants to be piped-in over the arena's soundsystem. WCW used to do it all the time, and WWE's picked up the trend lately.

I'm pretty sure one of the major networks got in trouble a year or two ago for "enhancing" crowd noise at live events. Not saying this is the case here.

I do not care for Metallica for many reasons.

The question is will WWE let them do HIAC right? Say what you want but without the blood and true brutality that match is a glorified cage match.

It's not the network in this case. You remember all those "Goldberg" chants that spontaneously appeared after Goldberg's "win streak" had hit around "60" or so?

I thought he finally reached the right amount of times calling HHH a coward.
I just got excited for this match.

Isn't that how like 90 percent of histories conflicts got started?

He lost the first one to HBK
he's lost 5 of them
With Michael Cole saying the structure is so dangerous because "Your fingers could get cut on the cell".

Sheffield is a badass when allowed to be, not sure he is post injury though. I saw him tearing it up in FCW before NXT and it was quite enjoyable.

nah he lost to Batista one time
and Kane back during that badass title run after which he retired and let us never speak of him again
it may be the right place to go for the storyline
but I don't trust those dudes to survive a regular match
I can barely stand cage matches without blood so you raise a good point. No blood kind of takes away from the brutality of the steel structure.

I genuinely thought Taker had died for a moment after their last WM match
Only for a moment, but still
