Well with George Lucas I can see that as a joke. I think I know him well enough through interviews & behind the scenes stuff I can tell it was a joke. But this did not read as a joke. If he was joking he really needs better material or hire a joke writer. Reading on the internet lacks the body language or voice inflections to fully convey a joke.
Sorry if I caused any offence, certainly wasn't meaning to equate "pedos" and "furries" there.
I don't think delivery means much over a typed out conversation.
