Good portals to post Flash Games to...

So, I'm trying to figure out where to post my flash games that will work best for getting good visibility and feedback, without ripping myself off on revenue share. I had at first gone to newgrounds, which seems like an OK place to post works, but their revenue share seems to be so tiny that a submission I had once put in that rated well enough for a unique color and almost 2000 views got 1 cent.

I tried Kongregate, which has a much higher paying revenue share; content only getting a few hundred views seem to earn near a dollar. But on the other hand it seems like the more effort I put into a game, the worse a reception it recieves at Kongregate; games made on a whim in less than a day scored decently and came out of judgement quickly, while games that I put literal weeks into would fall off the front page of the new section without hardly being looked at by anyone, much less voted on, and take literal days to accidentally get enough votes to get out of judgement. Needless to say feedback is rather hard to get when your game isn't seen by anyone.

I had heard that AddictingFlashGames was good; but when I looked on there, I saw it was owned by Viacom, and after Viacom stole from a ton of youtube users and then tried to sue youtube for stealing from them, I'm on a boycott of anything related to them.

Are there any other portals that are good for a dev to post to, or is there something I'm missing here? I know my games are not yet anywhere near masterpieces, and so monetizing isn't a huge issue, but It seems like my choices are earn no money and post to the site that gets more views, making me feel like I'm being cheated, especially in the long run when i start improving, or earn more money, but get almost no views, which makes me feel like my games aren't given a fair chance. ><

It sounds like you are still a beginner. At this point in any art or skill, you need to be focused on improving your work and not worried about things like money or visibility.

The internet is a boon for artists because they can distribute and even monetize their content in all kinds of exciting ways. I think though, it also distracts beginners because they can focus on how many hits their last drawing on deviantart got, instead of only focusing on their current drawing.

Obviously other sites to submit your flash games on is good info to have, but from what I am hearing, your time would be better spent developing the skills related to flash game development than it would be distributing and trying to get paid for your work.

Well, the thing is, like extra credits says, you are your own worst playtester. I want to get enough views that I can get the feedback I need to improve, but i also don't want to have it happen further down the line where I get used to posting someplace that pays practically nothing and finally manage to make a hit only to lose all the potential payoff due to the portal not sharing any of it.

Is there any reason you can't submit to multiple sites and get the potential advantages of all of them?

That would be possible... If I knew what portals there were and the advantages they each have. I only know of the ones I mentioned already.
