CVG is reporting that a clone wars cartoon game is in development for the PSP and DS handhelds.
I say its about damn time! i was a big fan of the Episode 3 game on the GBA/ds, so i wouldnt mind a system like that... but its not like we even know what its going to be like
Now THAT's the kind of action we should have seen in the movies.
I hate you because I'm going to spend the next hour now watching them all.
Use to have the whole thing on my computer...DVD worth buying at all?
EDIT: They actually explain why Grievous, well, sucks in the movie:
At the end of Episode 25, Mace force crushes the General's chest. For those that don't know, Grievous is a cyborg and his organs are contained there. This is why Grievous has wicked asthma and can't fight worth shit.
Now, there's just explanation. I certainly don't agree with defanging such a cool villain.

Yeah, episode 25 (Clone Wars) was made AFTER Episode III (movies). I can admire the fact that GT tried to explain how Grievous became... like that later on, but really there's no way he could have fully achieved that.
Because Grievous became so lame, so very lame in the end.

I don't really get why Lucas would want to write a character like Grievous as being disabled. You'd think he'd want to give the character some chance at instilling fear.
Shoot, even the novel of Revenge of the Sith had better expansion on Grievous. A scene with him arguing with a commander of one of the Republic ships(scenes of which are lacking in all of the prequel trilogy: less land battles, more space battles please).
Too bad they aren't doing a console version... that'd be the first SW game I'd be willing to buy in a long time.

I didn't say I agreed with it...when you create villains they have to be menacing. I have no idea why they decided to take that away from Grievous. There's just no emotional investment to be had in his scenes. In Clone Wars? Holy shit he was a terror.
It also helped that people DIED in Clone Wars. Grievous might not have been as awesome if we had the silly, Samurai Jack "Everyone's a robot" deaths in there.
Give this franchise to the Behemoth and make an Alien Hominid style game from this.
I would pay cash money for something like that. Episodic over XBLA, all the best parts of the Clone Wars were the unbelievable action scenes and that would translate so perfectly to a Castle Crashers/Alien Hominid style side scroller. PLEASE O PLEASE O PLEASE

I'm sorry, what were we talking about?
ninja edit! He has nothing to do with Foster's... who knew? Apparently he's directing a live action Astro Boy and Dark Crystal 2.
Is it sad that a series of animated shorts were the best thing to come out of the prequel trilogy?
On pretty much every level, yes.
It makes me want to play that level in Battlefront 2 again

Do they still sell those? I never caught the episodes on TV.
Yep. Pretty decent price too
Don't have Battlefront II. How was the singleplayer in that?
TO PHOTOBUCKET!
... damn buddhist pro-democracy bastards that they are.
Instead we get more Clone Wars? Bah!!
I still need volume two... I think I like the Clone Wars shorts better than all 6 of the films.
Hey, don't feel bad. I was thinking this was about Clone High.
I WILL NOT BE DOING 3DS FOR NWC THREAD. SOMEONE ELSE WILL HAVE TO TAKE OVER.
Spoiler contains Friend Codes. Won't you be my friend?

Are you serious?
Because the next-gen game (Force Unleashed) is about exactly that.

George Lucas took said badass and somehow managed to twist him into the most lame character in the 3rd movie (possibly excluding Anakin himself).
Seriously, they packed more creativity and style into those 5 minute shorts than Lucas managed with 3 ENTIRE movies. If you need proof of this:
