I remember reading about contesting a ticket by mail a while back, but I wasn't in a state that would allow me to do so. Now that I live in California, I have the luxury of contesting a speeding ticket by mail, which I've been told is generally a good way to go about doing things. I've read a bit about how to do it online, but I'm sure there are people here who can provide me with personal anecdotes and information about the process. So, have you ever contested a ticket by mail and, if so, were you successful in doing so? Is there anything I need to keep in mind when I contest my ticket or any tips/tricks you are willing to share?
