Yup, I'm on that carousel. it was pretty awesome. i come into view around second 6. i got a really good shot of gene wolfe prior to the ride starting up. those old carousels had quite a bit more oomph than what passes for them nowadays. the whole estate was pretty awesome.
I had a decent length conversation with Swanwick even and Gene Wolfe seemed like a super nice and gracious guy.

I don't know if The Witcher 2 is better when you actually play it but it really doesn't look nearly as good in videos and screenshots as the fans would lead me to believe.
The only people the BBT characters remind me of are neckbeards that I see occasionally at the supermarket haranguing the cashier as to whether or not the store's computers run on Linux.
