    I don't even remember the X-Men song.

    The Power Rangers song, however, is so ingrained in my psyche that I've subconsciously recalled it multiple times when listening to other music, and didn't even realize until playing that clip

    Yeah, I remember thinking the X-Men song was rad as hell at the time.

    But the Rangers song was fuckin transcendent. I'm pretty sure it ended up affecting my musical tastes a decade later, when I started seeking music out on my own.

    The wikipedia page for it implies that the megazord name is used for good guy and bad guy mechs. It could be wrong, though.
