The end of Mighty Thor #12 has just about the best "FUCK YEAH!" moment in comics so far this year. Fraction just redeemed the entire Fear Itself story with that one issue.

Avenging Spider-man #5, The Bro-mance you never knew you wanted! ( And I want it so bad now!)
Cap and Spidey!
Spidey learns about Cap being an artist pre-serum
Which turns into a slight Man-crush
But Cap throws down the adult card on a disheartened Pete,
But in the end the power of Nerd Bromance wins out!
This is one of my new favorite done in ones in a long time, this was just a really fun light hearted story , with a few tugs on the hearstrings throw in. I ended up grabbing panels instead of full pages for these, cause I could not pick just one part! ( and this is just a small sample, the entire issue was just really fun)
Aw, that's pretty cute. Yeah, more needs to be done with small-scale story beats between friends like that. Works better in serial than writing a romance.
Edit: Plus, if it's two guys Scans_Daily will write a thousand romances for you before it even gets published.

Do what you can to elect Harris/Walz and downticket Dem candidates in your area by doorknocking, phonebanking, or postcarding: https://www.mobilize.us/
it felt rushed and not very good and I wish that Fraction would drop this title and give it back to Gillen who wrote it with so much more gravitas and dramatic flair.

also I missed this!
it looks super-fun!
That Cap is a comic book artist is such a great part of his character
I wish I had a scan of the page from Ultimates where Thor reacts to Jarvis talking about The Bachelorette. It was the best. Maybe I'll try to take a phone picture of it later.

I found that exchange really confusing. I'm glad it was brought up. He's all jolly Thor in the previous panel then dead serious all of the sudden. I didn't get it at all.
Dude wants to seem like he is the same amiable Thor as always, but the world is kinda fucked so he is anything but. Tony's really the only one who knows that.
Also Avenging Spider-Man was so damn good. I really want Wells to write an Avengers book, as he is nailing everyone's voice. Especially Hawkeye.

Solar, you and me? We're like this.
I am, by-and-large, not a huge fan of issues where a lot of mega-action is happening, and most of the text is coming from some third party, or from someone in a later point in time, describing what's happening. It feels a bit redundant. Like, I don't even need to look at the pretty pictures, I can just read the text and see what happened. So, from a technical point of view, I was a little disappointed.
The way everything was ultra-hurried also annoyed me. It felt like Fraction was spinning out this tale, and then at some point went "oh shits, I have to wrap it all up in one issue! OK, uh, rock falls, everybody dies!". He was taking a very long time to build up the plot with the troll/Norn alliance, and then the whole thing went off as a pretty generic bang in this issue, just a big ol' battle that was pretty unremarkable (I thought). I wanted to see the payoff over a longer period of time. I really liked seeing Ulik as Tanarus, a sort of brute-Thor. I really would have liked that storyline to go on longer.
I'll stop before I venture too far into bitching territory.

I would assume since it was their own government they knew she did and had some kind of jammer or something to prevent it?

Sounded like he was paraphrasing Quantum Leap to moi.
Really?
I didn't like this issue at all
that was my first thought except for the leaping into someone elses body. So I went with my #2 answer.
eh
I didn't hate it or love it
as if Fraction didn't really care too much about that sub-plot
Felt like there was more potential behind that ongoing plot
and basically in this issue everything ended and that's about it. The heroes beat up the baddies and won.
Which is perfectly acceptable but it was nothing really that good

How do I try to impress girls now?
I think it was less the Artist part and more the Comic part of " Comic artist" that gets the nerd attachment
she died and went to Valhalla
which was, eh

I'm going to make you all sick of this image.
Also Rockslide is great.
Maybe I will have to download a scan app on my new android phone. Wooo.
What now? Whoa!
I gotta start reading FF...
Also note that he has two of them on.
At least he's not speaking in Italian again
also I missed this!

also he can grow but Gage had him magically discover how to do that thing he already knew how to do because Rogue told him
well it is sad that Christos has ignored/is unaware of that
like, honestly it is because I like it when writers are aware of continuity and consistency
he's still a good writer though and I like most of his work, including this
so I will continue to read and enjoy it
