Combining PA Gamers vs Evil with Rumble in R'lyeh

I know people haven't had their hands on Rumble in R'lyeh for more than a few days yet but I'm wondering if anyone has used it as an 'expansion'. I've only played it as a standalone game. I'm wondering if combining both would make the game better for 5+ players or in any way improve the mechanics.
