I need some games to make my computer bleed. The more system intensive, the better, I'll take em. Half-Life 2 and Oblivion I got, I need more. Where should I look?

    Fear is optimised so badly.

SupCom is just insane on CPU but not so much graphics cause it looks old.

go to a recent graphics card review on anandtech or hard ocp and get the games they use to measure FPS

off the top of my head FEAR, Oblivion, WoW, R6: Vegas, HL2

SupCom would be a good choice as well

The New Unreal Engine is a beast. Think games like Gears and Unreal Tournament III (formerly known as 2007). The engine supports full use of DX10 and Aegia physX cards...

Yes, but we're assuming games that actually available right now are what's being looked for.

RoboBlitz is Unreal Engine 3.0. Other than that, I'd also go with SupCom and F.E.A.R.

Rainbow Six Vegas actually runs on the Unreal 3 engine, and its out on PC, so I'd try that. Theres also RoboBlitz, like Tycho said.

Oblivion, SupComm, Medieval 2, FEAR and the expansion (terrible engine optimization, as mentioned before... The game reuns REALLY well in some places, and then on other very similar places it gets very crappy)... Command&Conquer 3 demo, Neverwinter Nights 2.

My laptop seems to run F.E.A.R. near enough flawlessley on High graphical settings and can run Doom 3 on ultra setting pretty damn well (high setting is as smooth as silk). It feels wrong that the game I'v played the most on this system is Fallout.

I may have to try some of these suggestions to see how good this little trooper really is. I'd assume Bioshock would be one of the most graphically intensive games on the market when that gets released?

Actually if you look at the framerate scaling then sup commander is very much gpu constrained*. http://www.legionhardware.com/document.php?id=617&p=4

*Standard note that benchmarks should be taken with large pinches of salt

I also second the R6: Vegas choice and add in Flight Sim X and Splinter Cell: Double Agent**

**None of these games have been optimised very well from what I hear.

He has a brand new system and wants to auto-fellate his new epenis.

Understandable, mind. Hell, the first thing I did with my new system was install Oblivion and crank everything skywards. I didn't even want to play it. Just to watch it.

Thats how much I put into my beast. I still get 20fps in the Labyrinth in Dark Age of Camelot. It's probably got something to do with huge ass texture resolutions, high poly character models, high numbers of character models, plenty of spells and shit being thrown around, and also that the Labyrinth is indeed the largest PvP Dungeon in an MMO, period. You can try that if you want.

EDIT: Also, Titan Quest is a nice hog. Get the demo to test it out first. Some people call it Diablo III, I think its just shy of that since the combat and shit just gets too repetitive.

Unit sizes to huge (or whatever the max is).

    All effects to max.

Custom battle, take a completely peasant army.
