How To Make a Screenshot Comic/Collage

This should be something simple enough to do, but my Photoshop knowledge is so poor I can't even find the proper term for this.

Basically, I want to learn how to make an image that consists of multiple screenshots/images put into one, like the kind you see on 4chan or other image sites.

I have the images, I'm just trying to figure out how to put them in an orderly row like that, and save it as one image to link to wherever.

Doesn't matter to me what program to use, as long as it's quick and easy.

Also, I'd like to know how to add text on the image, another thing that should be easy to do but I've never been able to figure out.

www.quickmeme.com is good for putting the text on an image.

Well that takes care of the text problem, but I still have no idea how to make an image consisting of multiple images lined up, as shown there and otherwise.

Just create a new image that is as many pixels tall as all the images you want put together, and drag them into place. Alternatively, just make an image that is way bigger in all dimensions, line them all up, and crop as desired.

As far as exposure goes, where does one usually drop an image like this in the hopes it reaches memetic notoriety?

My Tumblr has a specific theme that wouldn't go with the memes I've made (I like to think this makes my page appear more sane and organized than the average "shitty collage/shittier background" look of other Tumblrs), but maybe I'll make a separate one just for the random stuff.

I did manage to get a 4chan thread archived thanks to an image I made with the help of folks here, so that was satisfying.

Click on the little "T" button then click and drag somewhere in the image. There's also a "Help" menu in Photoshop which surprisingly has information pertaining to this and other topics.
