I'm looking for the name of that piece of opera which you can hear in the beggining of the song 'I don't know' by ozzy osbourne in the tribute to randy rhoads album. It's a rather famous piece.
EDIT: You can hear this first piece i'm looking for here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxHLZUdzSQs

I'm also looking for the piece of opera you hear in that episode of seinfield where they go to opera, and eline has that boyfriend jimmy who hates jerry, and he's insane. You see him doing bench presses with this tortured look on his face whilst listening to the music, it's great but what is the title of that piece?

Thankyou!

More specifically... O Fortuna from Carmina Burana by Carl Orff

O Fortuna is about 2.20 to 2.30 minutes long. You will recognise the end.

As for Pagliacci, it's an entire opera, so can't help you unless you know the specific aria or whatever.

Pagliacci means Clowns, so just search for "Pagliacci".

Not, of course, that we are allowed to recommend p2p stuffs here. Personally, I think that if you search your soul, you should find what you seek.

Ya, I thought it was at least a zero on the cleverness scale.

Pagliacci is such an amazing opera. Seriously, just go to the music store and buy it, there is no way they don't have it there. Sony Classics has one that has the libretto in italian and english so you can read the story.

that episode of Seinfeld is actually loosely based on the storyline for Pagliacci, that's what makes it so funny. when you read or see the opera, and then see what happens in the episode, it's really great. it's like a fictional television comedy show pretending it simulates reality accurately, copying a a fictional opera that pretends to be a piece of reality that some people really did believe it was real.

    it's amazing.

O Fortuna is such a section of a larger work, that's probably why it sounds cut off. There 23 other sections to Carmina Burana.
