Married with Children was the BEST show.

At least the first season or two.

I also liked the series finale.

A lot of the middle of the show was shit, though.

Marcy's second husband was less enjoyable.

Bud as a rapper was dumb.

But the Santa claus episode is one of the best "Christmas Specials" of all time.

My parents absolutely loathed Married with Children, and thus I was barred from ever watching it

the same applied to Ren and Stimpy

Some fairly popular Swedish travel journal site where people could upload pictures and stuff is getting shut down since it's not generating any profits.

Comments on that article: people saying how cheap hard drives are and they totally bought a powerful computer for 300 dollars and thus it doesn't cost much to maintain that site.

They ought to just get the bootstrap leather from their own bootstraps I say.

I don't know, that sounds like a pretty silly subtitle to me.

I played with a guy that begged and whined and pleaded for a month for a bunch of us to let him run a Robotech campaign and when he gave in, it went something like this.

We spent between two to three hours making characters, as he had a very specific idea and demanded that we make characters that fit his idea. None of us had a problem with this so we did our best to make some in-depth characters ties and other detailed background data for our PCs. After laboring for a few hours, he started us off with this:

GM: OK, you're all in your mecha in the the belly of a huge REF transport ship. Your mission is to intercept and destroy an Invid scouting party that is heading towards the planet's hidden REF outpost. Suddenly, the transport ship's pilot comes over your communicators and tells you that the Invid have spotted the transport and are moving to intercept? What do you do?

PC 1 & 2: We take off in our Cyclones' armor mode!
PC 3(me): I launch my Veritech and maneuver to intercept the Invid.

GM: (Snorting Laughter)"You guys don't even signal for them pilot to open the launch bay doors?!? OK, you all slam into the bay door and take..."

He paused to roll for damage at this point, but we took away all of his dice and did our damndest to stone him to death with them.
So back in college, there was this DM. And he didn't like to play much. So generally when he showed up he'd either DM or whinge until he got to. One session the girl in our group had this character she luuuvvvvved. It was like her favorite character ever. A drow assassin or something like that. And she'd been playing this character for something like 3 years. It was insane. Anyway, DM guy kills the character. Female player asks to get out of, you know, death. It was fairly standard in all our games. Death wasn't dead and gone. Usually, DMs would work some sort of resurrection quest in the story or something. It's D&D.

Anyway, DM tells girl that she can not be dead if she gives him a backrub. So she goes over, sort of teary eyed about her PC, and works his shoulders and neck. For like 15 seconds or something.

Meanwhile, the girl's boyfriend is sitting right there the whole time. And he's one of the DM's best buds. DM is staring at him the whole time in some sort of pimply alpha-male behavior.

I'm only half-sarcastic, but i know basically everyone here will tell me to get it.

You must admit, though, that the title is a bit silly. is the main mystery his muscles? Does he actually solve mysteries using his muscles?
