So I just acquired a Neo Geo 2 slot cabinet. This was not something that I was planing on picking up but I do not have nearly enough will power to turn something like that down. It comes with two gamers Metal Slug 6 and SNK vs. Capcom Chaos.
Now what I need help on is what other games do I need. There has to be some great games on the system but I can't seem to find any good sites on the subject. I am looking for fun games to play with friends while drinking and hanging out, and hopefully a game that will not get old after a month or two. If any one has suggestions that would be amazing because I am completely lost.
Metal Slug 6 wasn't released on the Neo Geo, it's an Atomiswave game.
You need to get Metal Slug 1 and 3, King of Fighters '98 and 2002, and a couple of the shmups (if you're playing with friends then ideally Blazing Star).
If you're very much into fighters try to get several of the Fatal Fury games. Fatal Fury Special along with anything more recent is great. Samurai Shodown is also a relatively flawless series even if the games have some major balance issues.
Neo Rasa on
"You know how Batman hangs people over the edge of buildings and gets them to spill information. That's Neo Rasa's way of it, but instead of information, he just likes to see people suffer." ~Senor Fish
A warning ahead of time: you're going to spend a LOT of money. If you don't like Metal Slug for whatever reason, you can probably make a bunch of cash selling off whatever Metal Slug is in there now (it sure ain't 6, as said earlier) as Metal Slug games sell like gold bricks.
Garou: MOTW is my personal favorite, followed closely by Samurai Shodown 4 and KoF 2002 (although many prefer '99 to 2002. I guess it's just a matter of taste).

Puzzle Bobble?

Pick up the original as well, its easier, but fun nonetheless. Also Ninja Master's Haoh-Ninpou-Chou.
