Is there some way to remove yourself from a mass text or block a number on the iPhone? Some chucklefuck included me in a mass text and the dumbasses involved text like 12 year old girls on speed. I have no interest in my phone getting spammed with alerts over this trite bullshit.
you are kind of fucked - you need to tell them to take your number out of the send list or start a new conversation without you.
You have no power over their phones, and blocking numbers can only be done at AT&T's end.
This is dumb. I'd apparently have to pay AT&T $5 a month for the privilege of not getting my phone spammed. This seems very primitive.
Syn, I've been on the AGS forums a lot lately just looking at ideas and resource for when I make my point and click adventure and there's a pretty big Gabriel Knight following there.
Also I'm glad that KickStarter got backed, and it's looking like the Two Guys From Andromeda one will succeed too. It's like Sierra just got pulled out of a fucking time capsule.
TellTale is making an officially sanctioned King's Quest game, 2GFA are making a "space quest" inspired game, a real Leisure Suit Larry reboot with the original talent at the helm, and Jane Jensen making games that she does best; dark metaphysical mystery titles.
The next couple of years are going to be really kind to my inner child.
I forgot that LSL got backed (I remember looking at screenshots from one of the last ones back in like 94 in an old EGM as a teenager and it was hot stuff... ) and I heard rumors of KQ, but I didn't know it was official. What number is it? 4? (I never played KW much)
Yeah, now if Lucas would get off his ass and license some more Sam and Max and Monkey Island and a fucking end to the Day of the Tentacle Trilogy that I desperately want so bad.
they have been making new Sam & Max for a while now. They are available in XBLA (and probably elsewhere) and are damn funny.

AT&T
They randomly changed my billing date, and then charged me every time I called them to fix it. I had to call several times because they couldn't get the date right.
Getting my divorce was easier and less of a hassle than dealing with getting our accounts separated with AT&T.

Really? I remember one on PC like five years ago that I see on steam from time to time, but that's all I've seen. I'll have to check out the ones on Xbox
The Settlers package had a link to a site where they had a tutorial, so now I even know how to play the game!
Very nice of them!
If you have any rules questions or strategy questions, or just want to talk about the joy that is boardgames, I'm all ears.
I shall remember!
Was going to try to get a game going on Sunday, so hopefully I'll have some impressions then.
Just a quick thought while looking over the pieces, do you know what the round tokens that lack numbers are for? They look just like the numbered ones but there's no print on them (I think there was six of them).

I believe they are just extras, for like, if you lose one, you can write whatever you want on them.

There's some less than obvious things they don't really call out in the rulebook.
For example: make a trade with someone at an absurd price. Like trade then 3 ore for 1 wood. Then play a monopoly card for Ore and take it all back (along with everyone elses ore).

My guess is that they have one machine that does the cutting for multiple boards, and those are just extra pieces from the cutting process. You won't be using them for anything in the game, still, they are nice to hold on to. I've used random pieces like that from games to serve as counters for things in other games.
Bob offered an email client where a user could subscribe to MCI Mail, a dial-up email account. The price was $5.00 per month to send up to 15 emails per month. Each email was limited to 5000 characters
I love that technology moves so fast that a product from nineteen ninety-five can provoke "It had what..." reactions.

Aha cool!
I am looking forward to this thing. The board is pretty too, I like.
It was also nice of them to include four ziplock bags so you can sort the road and house pieces. Good folks these guys.

Roast Beef is so good at simultaneously cheering me up and making me incredibly sad.
Like, actual Tetris. Whenever you pick up an item, a Tetris mini game starts with all your inventory as the available shapes, in random order. If you fail the game, the leftover stuff drops on the ground and you have to play another round for each item you want to pick up.

I don't actually care what gender anyone is. I guess the girls around here are Japan, Bob, Disco, Cass and Sigmund. Is that the roll call? Ladies, roll out.

It's really good, but right now has major matchmaking problems.
I can't find my phone >.<
Fucking hell.
it looks awful
That sounds wrong.
How old is your computer?
WHEW
His OS is Microsoft Bob.

It's from around 2009. It's a low end laptop though.
It does play the game really, just at like 12 fps, and has issues with the shadowing.
Oh, Bob
My UNIX professor wheeled out a computer with that installed. It was hilarious.
I believe they are just extras, for like, if you lose one, you can write whatever you want on them.
It really is a fantastic game.

Oh, I guess that makes sense. That kinda sucks

I'll buy a new PC eventually. Hopefully this year.
I think I took it as an elective and just fell in love.
Probably a lot of that was the teacher, though.
er, that is, the teacher made learning the OS really fun and interesting.
There is a reason why Cesca set her title to "is a girl".
Despite this there are still apparently forumers that think she is my husband.

yeah, I'd be taking it as an elective too but I think our class might just be a C programming class.
I'd love a class that taught us about stuff like using the command line and other practical things, but it's not offered at all in my college
