Best Password Manager software?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a (preferably) free password manager? Something that would have room for a Username, password and a notes section to put a url / login instructions or the like.

Between myself and my wife we just want to make sure we can remember and keep track of all of our accounts.

    Keepass + the database being stored in Dropbox + KeePass android/iOS + Dropbox Android/iOS. :)

    That's what I use.

    My boss swears by Lastpass, but I don't like them having control over the passwords.
