Xbox 360 game save transfer

On my 360 I have two accounts. One Live and one offline. I have a game save that I want to carry from the offline account to the Live account. Every time I try to move or copy the save, it tells me that I can't transfer files between profiles.

Normally, I would just accept that, but my friend also signed up for Live today and his saves automatically transferred to his new Live account. =\

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to have to redo everything.

    Sign up your offline account for Xbox Live, and stop renewing the other one.
