My little brother is going to Mexico and Sicily this summer. My parents finally decided to cave and get him a video camera (he's wanted one for a while). His main use (after said trips) will be for recording his skate boarding antics.
They did some shopping around and were looking at two cameras on sale down the street.
Canon HFR 300 w/ 8 gig card at $280
JVC Eveio GZ E200 w/ 8 gig card at $220
I don't know diddly squat about a good video camera. Would one of these be good for him?
Willing to look at some others as well. $300 is pretty much the ceiling on this though, including whatever extras that sound highly needed. Like a case or something. That's a thing people do right?
