I actually still haven't seen Pick Of Destiny, though I'm pretty sure the entire soundtrack has come up on Pandora at some point or another. Is it on Netflix now?
"Rock Your Socks" with Tenacious D's desire to prove its classical and rock prowess through giving "a taste" of Bach's Bourrée in E minor from Suite in E minor for Lute, BWV 996.
All you people up there in City Hall,
You're fuckin' it up for the people that's in the streets!
This is a song for the people in the streets,
Not the people City Hall.
All you motherfuckers in the streets it's time to rise up, up up up Come along children and fuckin' rise!
Lots of times when me and KG are watchin'
All the fuckin' shit that goes down at City Hall,
We get the feeling we should fuck shit up,
Yeah we should fuckin' start a riot. A Riot!
We have 'em screaming in the streets,
we have 'em tippin' over shit and breakin' fuckin' windows of small businesses, and settin' fuckin' fires!
and settin' fuckin' fires!
and settin' fuckin' fires!
Is it odd to anyone else besides me that, ten years after witting that song, the first minute and a half of it are rather topical to the current Occupy movement? Or maybe I'm reading too much into this.

I wouldn't call them perfect, they've had a few stinky songs
but I don't know if I've ever really met a person who didn't like the foo fighters
liking the foo fighters is like liking eating food or breathing oxygen
there are plenty of people that don't like the foo fighters. not many that like, outright hate them, but yeah
they're definitely head and shoulders above most modern rock that gets like, on the radio and shit, not that nickelback, theory of a deadman and the like are super difficult to vault over

THEN SHE SAYS
"I SUCKED YOUR DICK
NOW GIMMIE THAT BACKSTAGE PASS
I DON'T WANT YOU ROADIE
I WANT KG'S CHOAD"
~ Buckaroo Banzai
Just, holy shit
The Jethro Tull style breakdown in the middle is amazing.
I have to agree with you, the instrumentation in this album is jaw-dropping.

Not today, because I feel like I got run over by a train.
But this week.

low-hanging fruit is better though
BOOBIES DROOPING, BUT SHE'S

TRIMMED HER PUSSY HAIRS
GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME
MATURE WOMAN
SHE'S MY LADY

this is funny because the d did backing vocals on a vandals song called Fourteen
which is about being in love with a fourteen year old girl
Mind. Blown.
Whoa whoa
You stealin' my lines now
"Sandra has a good solid anti-murderer vibe. My skin felt very secure and sufficiently attached to my body when I met her. Also my organs." HAIL SATAN
Love that song.

the dudes doing the harmonizing in the background
I like to think that Roadie is about Eddie Riggs.

It's a rock block of Bach
That he learned in the school
Called The School of Hard Knocks
and i started singing it without realizing it
boy howdy that was embarrassing
It's a piece by Beethoven I think and Mozart's a Little Night Music for the second half.
I cannot for the life of me remember what the first song is called.
IIRC, it's Bach's Bouree in E minor and bits of Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.
And KG plays them well, although my preferred Bouree would be Malmsteen's.

i just know he was taking a stab at it and i started going CAN'T YOU SEE HE'S THE MAN LET ME HEAR YOU APPLAUD on autopilot
The best.

Steam: Chagrin LoL: Bonhomie
Is for cookie?
I saw the D play opening for the foo fighters last November.
It was a p. sweet day.
Satans..... hints.....
do you feel that
that is my penis
Huh! Looks like Dave Grohl did the drumming for this. Did not know that.
John C Reilly did the drums on some of their first album
pretty sure that was all grohl
who also plays the devil
He said "first album"
Not The Pick of Destiny, which is their second
Steam
Admittedly, he might not be on the album, he might just tour with them in person from time to time
Which fits with John C Reilly's "I will literally appear in whatever you ask" asthetic
or as they call him
Dr G
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
But I'll never listen to anybody who tries to say that Foo Fighters suck or Dave Grohl is awful
They are absolutely perfect and Dave is an inspiration

That song about farts at the end of City Hall is catchier than it has any right to be
