Tattoos can be therapy, living artwork, tributes, milestones and severe reminders of just how fucking dumb you can be at any given moment in time. Especially tribal arm bands. And names of anyone not blood-related.

    Oh it is, and I'm living proof of what not to do when sitting down in the ink chair.

    Case in point: my right arm (one holding the phone)

    Not ONLY does it contain a black tribal arm band, but contained within that tribal is the name of none other than my ex-wife.

    So two primary functions of this thread will be to share the awesomeness of tattoos, and hopefully educate some poor soul before they make the same mistakes I did 10 years ago.

    Seriously. Let this be a warning to anyone thinking that whatever they're planning on getting stitched into their skin is the greatest idea ever, it's probably not.

    Find an artist you get a good vibe from. Discuss the design, ask lots of questions...and then sit on the idea for a couple days, a week...whatever. If you're still sold on the idea of getting Taz or the KISS Army stamp on your throat, well..... :(

    Actually, someone who used to live with us used keke a lot. She was born in Vietnam, but raised here, so I dunno. She came when she was in middle school I think.
