Point me to a good article about the Death Penalty
Well, I guess it might as well be, since I'm helping some students find it. What I need is a short-ish, 3 pages or so, article focusing on the death penalty - something with a bit of meat to it is best, a position for or against that can be identified - a debate so they can point out some rhetorical devices, or whatnot, and with a reasonable level of difficulty - it's for ESL students.
I'm coming up with very few good results from Google, it's all too difficult stuff with an economical focus, or crackpot religious sites. Which are amusing, of course, but not useful.

Not really what you need but something interesting:

Final statements from people who were executed in Texas going all the way back to 1982. It should help add something to your report, a sum up of the most used words from all 300 can be seen here: http://www.good.is/post/the-last-words-texas-death-row-inmates-final-statments/
Also another good one to add a personal touch to the debate is the last meals...

These things (last words/meals) help humanize things somewhat, and you can use it on either side of the debate depending how you want to spin it.
