Okay, let's be honest here... how many years has he wanted to draw that?

A friend of mine is exactly like this. I'm not even kidding when I say he would fund a miniatures game you can play in the bath.

He probably already had it done and it was just sitting, waiting, in a folder somewhere.

He had an entire folder to pick through in hopes of finding one that's "just right".

Why bother with kickstarter? Just get some Warhammer dudes and glue them on top of some rubber ducks. Obviously they'd have to be cavalry and you'd need to come up with rules for giant ducks...

Why not a miniature naval-battle sim you can play in the pool/large bath? With floating dice?

Suddenly I want a naval warfare miniatures games where the ships have actual cloth sails and the rules require you to position a fan around the battlefield that changes position/strength each turn.

Well, there was that one strip where Gabe suffocated in the airtight glass container, but that might not be violent, strictly speaking.

There's also the Tycho drowning in the car as the third panel joke comic. I forget what it was about, but that last panel was pretty awesome.

It's been a long time since we had a good ole fashioned murder comic!

Was hoping for a watch reference, though. :)

Is it cheating to move the pieces by moving around in the tub and creating a current? Or is that encouraged?

  • GaslightGaslight Registered User regular
I very much appreciate the rare comics where Gabe gets to be the voice of restraint and reason.

As long as you're not sinking the pieces by reducing their buoyancy through the addition of gas bubbles in the tub.

I should have known that window I walked by wasn't a mirror. Oh man, I don't think we were supposed to see each other! I have no idea what this means for the space time continuum but it can't be good.

Oh how I've missed the old, violent and idiotic antics of classic Gabe and Tycho. It's enough to make me cry blood...

    Necks... it's all about necks...

Personal Quote: "I stare into the void as her molted carapace unfurls, her soaking thorax begging for my gentle touch... and she whispers: "krev unda xcryu!!!". Her slender neck riddled with eggsacks and vestigial maws beckons for my tender head, but what is that I see? Tis a hedgehog, nested upon one of her seven shoulder, her quills beckon for me as well. I now surrender myself as I am filled with countless fertilized eggs and my hands grace the spiky sensuous quills... Yes, yes - a thousand times yes..."

That sounds like a project I could float with some small cash installments; sort of a micro-payments system.

That's the only way you can move pieces around. It's called the Flow of Battle system.
