The guilds we are fighting are probably so weak because we didn't do anything the first couple of days. If we had been more active I think our competition would be different. I'm not going to fault anyone for not participating in this war, the rewards aren't anything to right home about and I myself am feeling more apathetic to the game. Plus what a terrible time to host it.

We're currently in the 5000s for guild rank, it would be kind of nice to make it into the the 3000s to turn the personal holy powder rewards to actual holy powders. The individual rewards are a flat out joke, get in the 1000s rank for a rare card and three cards packs?! At this point I don't think we have a shot of any of the victory points rewards, but getting to 9 would have been nice.

That being said, the silver coin packs still seem worth while, even if the required 3000 for a gold pack is pretty ridiculous. And the badge rewards are easy enough to get, I don't feel bad about spending a PHP if it means I break 1000 points.

So I just finished quest 4, have my second Percival, leveled both up to 20, Evolved into [Crimson Knight] Percival and am currently Enhancing the fuck out of him.

Why is 2-2 the best place to get enhancement fodder? No chance of a money chest?

2-2 has the highest average pwr per card pulled of the quests in Chapter 2. So at 3 stamina points used per card it's the most efficient enhancing spot in the game. That said, 2-5 is only marginally worse.

My order went for it on the final day and ended up around 200th (again) with 17 victory points. Still ends up as a massive HP loss for most people though. I spent around 110HP and expect to recoup around 30 of that at most - you really needed to pull Satan's to break even.

Regarding Satan, I expect his value to drop to around 70-80HP on Tues/Weds when rewards are released. He's not a great card compared to the new SSR's released, but it's still a good option if you can be bothered to skill him up (which involves using stacks of HR's or SR's).

Anyone taking a break from the game may want to take a minute and log on. They're giving away a free 10 card pack (R+). Also, premium CPs are R+, so it might be a good idea to claim them if you've been hording.

Looks like with the 10 card pack the market took another dive, I'm seeing several HR cards going for 1 HP and pretty much every other HR costs half as much as it did a few weeks ago. SRs seem to be a bit cheaper too. Finally picked up a set of Asparas, and five arcane angels, because at 2 HP why not.

In regards to this event, Gods players need not apply I guess. Not a single god card in any of the standard rewards, and only the stupid Cait Sith in the goblin coins box. Looks to be a great boon to any Man players though. This is Mobage making up for giving Gods better rewards over the last several events.

Hey guys, as you probably noticed from my extreme low participation in last holy wars, I am slowly losing interest in the game and playing it less. I've moved to join some RL friends in an order to see if that revives my waning interest but I can't see myself playing this game for that much longer.

I had fun though and hope they will make some changes to make it better. It's a *great* time to be starting out, stuff has never been cheaper. Just for veteran players who primarily liked the old holy war style I'm not sure there's as much draw as before.

Anyway I enjoyed my time in the Arcadian order and wish you all the best.

I too have become almost completely inactive. I have no idea what anything is worth in the Zar anymore, sounds like the market deflation has continued. Boo. I dont think anything can revive my interest to the level it was, I just cant sit around enhancing cards for hours anymore. I cant really say what was so adictive about this game but it WAS fun, I hope you guys keep having a blast with it. I may log in from time to time but if you need to free up space, feel free to give me the boot. Viva Arcadian Order! @vorpal it was a pleasure to kickass with ya for a while, good luck in your new order!

The issue was that they destroyed deck differentiation with HR devaluation, discouraged event participation with bad rewards and mandatory event cards and increased the barrier to entry for new people with the two week account locks instead of resolving their account security issues (although they may have been dealing with selling cards for real money also) which only hurt new players, not people abusing the system.

The bazaar was actually a great addition, the real issue is that it makes painfully clear what Cygames did to ruin their own game. Power differential between decks became so small once the barrier to get into the HR level was removed that the game became regular players with evo'd HRs versus power users with SSRs. Weekly battle ranking incentive is dulled by this, events are pointless unless you're spending cash or insane amounts of playtime to be able to get whatever event SSRs required to get rank 300+ for the genuinely useful rewards. It's just silly.

When I started playing the game had possibility but the constant squeezing of players to require massive stores of HP and constant new release cards drove it into the ground.

I look at something like that bejeweled pokemon game that has a thread on the front page (Puzzles & Dragons) and I see the same thing. A potentially interesting game throttled by its microtransaction focus.

Kind of the last straw for me was to finally get to 800 gems, which is what it takes for an SR ticket.

Then I started looking at SR prices. Witchcrafter - 5. Longinus - 25. Tristan - 10. Sanada Yukimura - 15. Achilles - 35. Even Lancelot was just 40.

Now....I could take those 800 gems and turn them into 40 holy powder instead, which is obviously a far better solution. And utterly dull and boring.

When even your absolute best result from scrounigng up enough gems for an SR ticket is worth less than just turning them in for holy powder piece meal...we have a problem. not least, a good game company would recalibrate the gem rewards.

Lancelot is down to 40 HP now? Jeebus. I pulled a Lance from one of my starting claim tickets and sold it for ~160 horns a few weeks later.
