Read PAD's X-Factor Investigations (assuming it hasn't been cancelled). Great series that exploits the X-men mythology better than the X-men usually does.

Excellent. Love The Maxx. I have all issues of the comic, 4 of the trade paperbacks, and a Maxx ornament that's been hanging from my rearview mirror for the last 6 years.

This movie was awesome and the guy who played Banner is fantastic and the fella who was Hawkeye is really pretty to look at and I liked the way they handled Tony Stark and and and

I thought the guy who played Hawkeye was pretty goofy-looking in the facial area

haha, what all comics have you read now?
have you read Wolverine and the X-Men?
uhhhh lemme think
i've been going out and finding arcs (not necessarily good ones) and trying to read stuff in order so i know the current state of the universe
considering the last comics i read were the old spidermans under my brothers bed.
I'm not really sure how comics go so i've just been reading TPB's because its easy and i dont have to hunt stuff down
i started with secret war and read uhhh avengers disassembled and uh something about the new avengers and winter soldier and house of M and all the hulk war/planet stuff and then civil war and a bunch of stuff about the xmen after the HoM
it's all so disorienting i dont know how you guys actually keep up with all the different comics

The first trade of Wolverine and the X-Men just came out, it's super recent
It is a fun X-Men book
I'm not nearly as enamored with it as other people here, but it is a pretty good superhero book to be reading, I'd say

If you're going to get into WatXM though, I'd recommend picking up the Schism collection as well. I rather enjoyed Schism, first off, and it leads very nicely into WatXM

the secret is that most people don't actually keep up with that much
I think most people will regularly read between two and five titles a month and maybe the event stuff in the summer but that's about it
I haven't read Secret War or Disassembled or House of M, I just kind of am aware of what happened in them
I tried to keep up with all the tie-ins for house of m and civil war, and not only was that expensive, it was a shitty idea because a bunch of them were shitty comics
I'm still mad about how terrible civil war: front line turned out because that's a fucking great idea and paul jenkins fucked it up in almost way you can fuck up a comic
With X-Factor Investigations start with The Longest Night TPB or the Madrox prequel mini-series Multiple Choice TPB. Be sure to check that you've got the right X-Factor, since it has had on-goings before. It began in 2007.
