Not sure if this belongs in G&T or here, but figured i'd post it here.
I used to be pretty active in Goozex, probably getting a "new" game every month or so, and sending out a few each month as well. Trading has pretty much dried up (and i'm stuck with 3500 pts, and 4 tokens, with nothing i want available now, oh well...). I sold arkham city back to Gamestop, with like 3 other old games, and got a whopping $30... ouch. I tried Gamestaq.com as well, but they don't even list Prototype 2 (the game i want to sell/trade) in their database.
Does anyone know of a good, active site, for these types of transactions?
I wish I had an alternative for you too. I'm in the same boat (2200 pts, 3 tokens) and been waiting a while for a few games.
If you think about it, as everyone changes old games for newer, your backlog grows until you can't keep up anymore. After a while you think "I'll just wait" before exchanging games again.
The real solution is an influx of new people that put up old and request new again but I think most heavy gaming communities that would put it to good use, have.
I've heard of gameTZ but when thats mentioned in the Goozex forums, there are many cons to the site.
I just sell on amazon market place now, only marginally more hassle than goozex was, unlike dealing with ebay. And it gives you real money, at a much better deal (both buying and selling) than gamestop and the like
Hmm, best buy is actually not terrible. You get double your trade in (not sure if there are any catches...) this week, so Prototype 2 is $30. only slightly better than amazon, but no shipping.

goozex is so weird because they are apparently in the middle of being bought, and people are leaving the site in droves.
