For those of you who don't know, Suits is essentially Law and Order, only without the order.
And, sometimes, without the law.
The show follows this guy...
Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), a senior partner at Pearson Hardman. It's a major law firm in New York City, specializing largely in corporate law.
Harvey, having just been promoted, hires this guy on as his associate...
Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), a guy with a photographic memory, and an encyclopedic knowledge of business law.
The problem is, Mike doesn't have a law degree, and he's never been to law school; up until meeting Harvey, he made a living taking law school entrance exams for other people.
Harvey hires him anyway (mostly because Mike reminds him a bit of himself), and Mike meets the team at Pearson Hardman, including...
Donna (Sarah Rafferty), Harvey's long time assistant and confidante...
Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle), Pearson Hardman's best paralegal, and Mike's would-be love interest.
Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), a junior partner at Pearson Hardman with a serious inferiority issue where Harvey's concerned.
Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres), the managing partner at the firm, and Harvey's long time friend/mentor/tormentor.
Harvey and Mike manage to make a name for themselves as one of the firm's top legal teams, and at the end of Season 1, things seem to be going okay, until this guy...
Trevor (Tom Lipinski), a former drug dealer, and Mike's (possibly former) friend, decides to tell Jessica about Mike's secret, after he finds out that Mike is dating his old girlfriend...
Jenny Griffith (Vanessa Ray), who broke up with Trevor after Mike told her that he was selling pot behind her back.
So what's going to happen next? Will Jessica fire Mike? Will Harvey be disbarred for knowingly engaging in legal fraud? Will Rachel stand behind Mike after finding out he lied to her about his background?
Well, you can find out tonight, because Season 2 premieres on USA at 10:00.
Right after Burn Notice.
Somebody else can make that thread.
