Do you think America will be remembered like Rome/Greece? They will focus on maybe 20 pieces of art, 5 wars, 15 famous politicians, 4 Cultural Icons, Technological Advances and Countries we had control over
And that's it? Will what we were about be lost in some textbook of some country that could give two shits about us and there will be people that will be infatuated with american culture? Will we be reduced to a chapter in a history book?
We will right? We will be a chapter in a history book, a course in college?
How many triscuits could you cram into your mouth and still bite down?
What would it be like to have sex in a tub of scrambled liquid eggs?
Did bruce lee learn so much kung fu he killed himself? Is that mastery of martial arts? I KILLED MYSELF WHILE KICKING FUCK I AM BADASS
Stay at home dads are repulsive.
More to come
In X amount of years, will Frank Miller make a graphic novel, which will be turned into a movie, which a certain scene from said movie will be turned into a gif, well, multiple gifs, stupid gifs?
tl;dr: Will there be a future movie featuring a scene containing, "THIS IS AMERICA!!!"

No, no there won't be.
This has nothing to do with 300 you number loving jerk
Ive actually been thinking about this idea of American longevity a lot lately thanks to my old/middle english lit class
and really, America isn't built for longevity. we switch our lead every 4-8 years (unlike the kings of old who could have reigns as long as 30 or 40 years) and we make very flash in the pan decisions. we've basically put too much detail in the day to day events, to the point where either history books will have to be very very long because so much happened, or so much will be forgotten it will be a crap shoot as to what is really memorable or not

Why is SE++ so self-conscious about being nice people? It's like everyone's all cocks dicks lol i hate you, but then when something happens or whatever everyone's all like, .
And I believe Bruce Lee is still alive in zombie form and trains (to this day) a horde of zombies in the new zombified style of Bruce Lee martial arts. There won't be enough shotguns to save us.

Nothing is really memorable though
our wars are disconnected from the people (iraq/vietnam/desert storm/ shit even ww1 and 2 to a degree) our populace isn't directly affected by any of wars since the civil war. We don't have to rebuilt towns or anything. It's kind of odd isn't it? Even then civil war, we didn't have to deal with the idea of an invader. Even the american revolution, weren't both the british and the americans the invaders warring for dominance?

Bipolar Disorder? Or maybe we're just assholes for kicks, but when it comes down to it, we enjoy being nice every now and then.

kind of an odd nation if you think about it
what about the arts, man? like how we read Canterbury Tales and Marcel Proust and John Donne, who are they (the future populous) going to look back at our time and marvel at? are they going to have lectures on Elliot Smith? the impact of the Pussycat Dolls? I mean, Im sure film will play a large role, but what medium will ultimately prevail, especially in a culture where art has been largely de-legitimized for entertainment?
