Suggestions for scoring a multi event games tournament

Myself and a few old friends are getting together for a games weekend, video games (different games) , pool, darts, table football, doubles pool, doubles darts, doubles table football, golf, go karting etc. Kind of a weekend get together. But basically we want to make it competitive. And have an overall winner and wooden spoon.

There’s going to be between 6 and 10 people

Now between us, some have never or very rarely play some of the stuff. So is there any way that I can fairly score the weekend.

Points for winning different events or a kind of ELO system

Is there maybe and iphone app that will help (less pen and paper the better)

Anyone done anything like this before?

Thanks for any suggestions

I would say your best bet is just to say for each round 1st place is worth 6 points, 2nd worth 5, 3rd worth 4...6th worth 1 or if there's 10, 1st worth 10, 10th worth 1, etc. Then add them up at the end. There is no way you're going to find some kind of modifier that makes it fair any other way.
