What's with this Pokemon Card?

I had a bunch of Pokemon cards, and received a bunch a while ago from my sister. I was sorting them out last night and I came across a Kricketot with a shiny snowflake on the bottom righthand corner of the image. I tried looking it up online but I can't seem to find anything?

It looks just like this: snowflakekricketot.jpg

I see it says they're promo cards/advent calendar cards but I can't really find anything solid. What's up with it?

~Thanks

I guess from a bit of googling (I googled something to the effect of "snowflake on Pokemon card"), cards with that snowflake on them were part of the Pokemon Countdown Calendar: "This unique product was released in October 2008. The box contains 24 fixed cards from several DP expansions with special foil snowflake stamps." (I got this from Bulbapedia, but their site is having issues right now so I'm not going to link them.)

So basically this card is one card from a promo set of 24 cards, I guess. What more information are you looking for? How much they're worth? Because I think you'd be better off looking at various Pokemon fansites for that info instead of asking on non-Pokemon-related sites. (I mean, Penny Arcade is gaming-related and all, but the Pokemon-centric sites have much more info.) If you google the name of the set (mentioned above) you can find several Pokemon-related forums where people have asked about that set, and those forums might be able to give you a decent idea of their worth.

It's from the 2008 October Pokemon Countdown Calendar promotion. There were 24 Pokemon from various sets (I think 24... could be more/less) that were part of this promotion. All of the cards in this promotion were stamped with a gold foil snowflake, except for Pikachu (who had a silver foil snowflake).

Here's a flickr link with some more information on the topic:

Thank you both. :3 I wasn't really looking for worth, I guess, I just wanted to know why it had it on it. And this was the first forum I came across, somehow, that I thought would be appropriate to post on.

    :)
