NiMH Batteries?

So I have a charger, but I need some AA batteries for my digital camera. I had some NiMH ones over the years, but they lost charge eventually and besides that, i've lost them. I'm browsing online and I cannot figure out where I should be purchasing these from, or even what i'm looking for.

Anyone have battery knowledge they wish to share?

    We've had lengthy threads on batteries before...i think the gist of it was that any 2000 or 2500 mah batteries are decent (I believe I use 2500 energizers), but the really important thing is having a really good charger that will get the full potential out of the battery. We really should get a thread for this on the Accumulated Forum Knowledge board.

    I may edit in the links to the threads, but you can search for 'battery' or 'batteries'.

    Also, this always ends up linked to in the threads: Battery University. Honestly, it's mostly trivia since I don't expect anyone here to actually make a usable battery, but it's all neat nonetheless.

    The Energizer 2500 mAh rated batteries, packed with the charger, will run you about 20 bucks and is an excellent little package. Steer clear of the 15 minute charger version, though. It charges faster, but your batteries won't be charged to full capacity (they'll run out faster).

    Here we are...I believe this Maha charger is very well liked. Also, while I was at their website, my inner techno-geek/consumer whore started jittering when I read about their next big thing. I'll get one of those sometime, as the previously mentioned quick-charger that comes with energizers are, in fact, lose.
