I think we all love science fiction here. So I have made a general science fiction RPG. Each player controls an intergalactic faction in a game of intergalactic war and political intrigue, they can use one from an existing source (Star Wars, Star Trek, Babylon 5, Halo, Starcraft etc) or they can make their own. Each large unit (i.e: starships) of your empire you post should have some stats about it, and preferably a picture so we know what it looks like. This game is diceless, the information on power of weapons comes from whatever source you're using for your civ. Obviously that wouldn't be entirely fair, as some sci-fi series scale their weapons to higher power outputs, so it will be a mixture of things. For example: Star Wars turbolasers are more of a rapid-fire, overwhelming firepower type thing. Star Trek phasers on the other hand are more armour-piercing and accurate. Stuff like that. This is a diceless RP, pretty much anything and everything can be destroyed/killed. BUT if it is an exceptionally powerful something, say a Death Star-esque spacestation, then whether the attack on it will succeed or fail will be decided by a flip of a coin. I will be flipping said coin, so please trust me. Okay, ground rules:
-NO blowing up another planet via Death Star or some other weapon of mass destruction(absolute genocides, or reducing the planet to uninhabitable are still allowed).
- No killing off the leader of another civilization/region/empire. Soldiers, however, can be killed extensively, and generals or other officers can be killed to some extent.
- Try not to powerplay or have someone be perfect(a simple being can withstand a nuclear explosion, etc.).
- Only one civilization is allowed per participant.
- Use PMs or e-mails(preferably PMs) to make/break alliances, rather than a regular post.
- No bringing back everything around you after it exploded.
- If the situation arises where a base or important structure(ex: Death Star) is destroyed and the leader or other important people on it have not yet evacuated, they are automatically considered to have evacuated unless stated otherwise.
