Diablo II is great and all.. I love that game, but I think it's starting to get a bit dated and showing it age... (the graphics are all blocky on my computer).
What I'm looking for is a game like Diablo II (you know, fairly simple with lots of clicking and killing stuff) but with decent graphics. They don't have to be great graphics, just less block like. As far as game play, nothing fancy, just a bunch of button mashing and some simple level up character advancement stuff.
Any ideas?

I'm downloading Sacred now. I like the overhead 2.5D-ish graphics.
EDIT: Wait, that was just the patch. Can you download the game first? Is there a demo/free trail? I can't find one.
It's the most Diablo-esque game made recently, and it fits everything you asked for to a tee, and it's really good too.
EDIT: Damn you, Major!!!!
Because they suck. Check out Titans Quest.
I mean, I got bored of it eventually but I believe that is more my fault than the games.
There's also Titan Quest (as mentioned above), but I'm pretty sure the demo had some major issues that were resolved in the full game, thus it's probably not worth finding the link for that. I haven't touched the expansion so I can't comment on that, but I saw the original game for $14.99 in the local Fry's ads on Friday. It's definitely worth it for that price, assuming you have a PC that can run it.
I can't believe it took four posts. Back in the day, someone from G&T would have been dispatched to this guy's house to stand on his front lawn and scream TITAN QUEST!!
Before he'd even finished writing the post.
Try Dungeon Siege or DS II, great graphics, has full party control, fun and mostly mindless just like Diablo.
There's also a game called Fate, which I have only played briefly but seems to be a faithful Diablo clone as well. (EDIT: HyperAquaBlast beat me to it, but yes, there is a retail version now, I just saw it in an EB.)
Guild Wars is different than Diablo in some major ways (e.g., it doesn't focus on uber loot drops), but has the same combat RPG style to it. A spiritual successor with MMO trappings, I suppose you could say.
There's also a Diablo recreation done in Neverwinter Nights, though it does of course have very different gameplay because of the NWN D&D engine.

Good start to the day. Pity it's going to be the worst one of your life. The light is now on.
There is also Hegemonia (I think) which was ok.
Also Divine Divinity while technically an RPG is just walking around kicking the crap out of stuff diablo style.
Edit: Re-read the OP, definitely get divine divinity.
That's why I said he may want to wait for Sacred 2, which looks like it's made of Awesomesauce.
I hope it does turn out well. But it's still like a year off, isn't it?

You also had a party, or at least one other person with you at almost all times... I don't remember which. But yes, it was awesome.

Oh and also good.

Hmm. Zax the Alien Hunter? Haven't played that in a loooong time, but I remember it being rather Diabloish and not bad. It's an old game now, though.

It came out just before Diablo 2 I think, but it looks good, plus you could set the resolution higher than D2, to like 1024x768.
Man, I need to find my CDs for that game, multiplayer was fast paced, like a isometric half-life deathmatch.
Titan Quest is also a lot of fun particularly with its skill system (pick 1-2 masteries out of 8 instead of picking specific classes). I just picked up the expansion pack and have been enjoying the additions, both major and minor. Haven't gotten to the all-new 4th chapter yet; I've been trying out the 9th mastery (Dream) which is a lot of fun (but way overpowered).

Uhh, I almost picked up Titan Quest and the expansion pack today. Close call? Missed opportunity?
I never asked for this!
Also, Triglav is a pretty good browser based D2 clone. IE only though.
See how many books I've read so far in 2010
This is true for me. I bought it in January and I'm still in Greece. I enjoy it but I only play it about once a week.
If I were to install the expansion would I be able to take advantage of the new features in my current character? A caravan would be rather nifty.

The caravan is virtually MANDATORY. Given all the set items, partial bits like "pristine plumage" which you might only be able to complete on various playthroughs, and great items which you can transfer to other characters via the caravan, it's something that should have been built into the original game.
And yes, it's applied to existing characters.
Also, I like the new artifact recipes in that they give you something extra to shoot for.
the DM was awesome and it even had CTF and another variant that was like soccer.
Does X-Men Legends II count?
Overall TQ is a good game but it just made me want to play D2.
I can vouch for this. I remember it fondly. But honestly, try World of Warcraft if haven't yet. you can give the 2 dollar 14 day trial a try (you can pick up at any ebstop). Yes, I know they are made by the same company and whatnot. But seriously, it is like diablo gone 3D.
