Basically I keep a .txt of all the games I want for the PSP & DS, as is follows:

Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins

Unreleased:
Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars

Now, this is by no means a "Buy every game on this list" kind of thing. This is more of a "When I'm out, this is what I want to pick from." kind of thing.

So, my question to everyone on the board is: What should I remove, and what should I add? What sucks and should be baleeted, and what would be nice to add?

PSP: Lumines, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Gitaroo Man, Valkyrie Profile(as with most ports, not if you have the original).

I don't have a PSP yet, but those are definitely the first games I'll be after.

I will shorten your DS list down to titles I own, and bold all the titles I highly recommend. Consider non-bolded titles only "normally recommended".
    DS Want List:
    Contact
    Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (If you only get one Castlevania, get PoR.)
    Dragon Quest; Rocket Slime
    Elite Beat Agents
    Hotel Dusk: Room 215

    Pheonix Wright: Ace Attorney
    Pheonix Wright: Justice for All
    Super Mario 64
    Trace Memory
    Warioware Touched

No need to burn out on text adventures all at once. The PW games are good, but Hotel Dusk is the best. Trace Memory is good but SHORT.
    Unreleased:
    Custom Robo Arena
    Pokemon Diamond or Pearl

Those are the two I want. But I want Pokemon more.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War (Unreleased)
    God of War PSP (Unreleased)
    Jeanne d'Arc (Unreleased)

Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel
Metal Gear Solid 2: Digital Graphic Novel
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (Unreleased)
    Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner
    Silent Hill: Origins (Unreleased)
    Sonic Rivals
    Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
    Tales of Destiny II (Unreleased)
    Tales of Eternia
    Tales of Phantasia (Unreleased)
Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology (Unreleased)
    Tekken: Dark Resurrection
    Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth

    DS:
    Dragon Quest IX (Unreleased)
    Final Fantasy III
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings (Unreleased)
Final Fantasy Tactics A2: The Sealed Grimoire (Unreleased)
    Heroes of Mana (Unreleased)
    It's a Wonderful World (Unreleased)
Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (Unreleased)
    Lunar Knights
    Sonic Rush

Note that I don't have any bolded DS games, it's not because I don't think they're bad but that I haven't gotten around to picking up a DS (I think I'll wait until FFXII:RW is out before getting one).

Why did you omit Jeanne D'Arc on the upcoming PSP list, it's basically everyone's most anticipated PSP game

    No idea what that is.

As for the DS, unfortunately I didn't really enjoy the little bit of Pheonix Wright that I played of my girlfriend's copy. So, as much as everyone loves that one, I'll have to pass on that.

I wish I could change the thread title to: "Which of these games is worth buying?"

I own Lumines II, so I didn't think it'd be necessary to purchase the original. As for SFA3, I'm not really a huge fighting game fan, other than Killer Instinct and Super Smash Bros, obviously. Gitaroo Man I definitely want, but at the same time I was hoping it'd drop a bit below the $40 pricetag, though, I guess I should just get it while I have the chance.

    Keep 'em coming guys. :)

Jeanne D'Arc is Level 5's PSP Tactical RPG. It looks stunning. As the name suggests, it's loosely based on Joan of Arc's story.

Do we have a vague idea when Revenant Wings will hit?

For shame. It's a strategy RPG from Level 5 (developers of Dark Cloud 1 and 2 and Rogue Galaxy and co-developers of Dragon Quest VIII and IX). It looks really good though we don't know when it's getting it's western release (it's pretty much guaranteed that it will though, SCEE is reportedly handling the PAL release).

Heh, I thought I was the only one that did this! :D

I have a file somewhere called 'wishlist.txt' that has a list of games that I want going all the way back to the DC and Saturn, reaching all the way to the 360. It's not a list of games I must buy per se, just a list of stuff that I plan to pick up if I ever see it cheap, preowned etc.

The OP's list looks fine. You seem to have all major genres covered. You should add Sid Meier's Pirates! to the PSP list tho, it's been getting awesome reviews. If I hadn't already played it to death on PC i'd be all over it. Also, they added proper land exploration (treasure hunting!) back into the game, which actually makes the PSP version superior to the Xbox version!

No Burnout on the PSP list?

    For shame.

Get legends, not dominator though. It's the better one IMO.

I use MyIGN for that. I prefer an online database because you can access it anywhere. IGN's is clean and tidy but rather slow, so if anyone has suggestions for a better one please tell.

I've tried out IGN, 1UP and Gamespot's ones and honestly, I don't like any of them. Out of the three, IGN's is the best but it isn't even that good (I preferred it before they revamped it).

Right now, I keep all the games I own/want in txt files.
