    what started it

i have to get my driver's license soon or else something will happen with my insurance, turns out my permit doesnt expire past my birthday but something happens to my insurance and i wouldnt be able to drive

my mom never bothered to find out what was up with that until this week, and my birthday's the 23rd

i have to get more driving practice in before then, so she made me drive with her

she is horribly critical and points out every single flaw i make even when i'm in the middle of correcting the situation and i'm not allowed to respond that i'm fixing it or else she'll say i'm sassing her

i drive better with my horrible father who is more laidback about that, other than the fact that he gets up in my grill about my hair getting in my eyes

    so

tried backing out earlier this afternoon

she gets mad at me, says i sassed her, i stop the vehicle and leave.

lock my door, stay in my room for a while, come out, see a note on the kitchen table saying that he needs to drive with me

which means i'm going to have to get up super early because he's going to work earlier

and she didnt bother to say shit

    so i go berzerk

irrationally, yes, but i'm a broken person who is sick of dealing with my parents

few things enrage me like someone telling me to fix something I'm already fixing (or do something I'm already doing)

    like, seeing-red angry

I really dislike driving with other people in the car

they're judging me, even if they're not saying anything, in which case they're SILENTLY JUDGING ME

and then I get all self conscious and make mistakes

I wish that someway, somehow, that I could save every one of us

    to be fair

parents (or other loved ones that you care about) teaching you to drive is going to be a fool's game pretty much every time, with any personality type

either you end up screaming at each other in the car the whole time and feel totally invalidated and unconfident

or you sulk and take your mood out on the road, which means you're less careful, which means they criticize you more, which means you sulk more, which means you take your mood out on the road more, etc etc

or you take every constructive critique of your driving as a personal attack

the number of people who had a PLEASANT experience while being taught to drive by parents or loved ones is likely in the stark minority

    Okay, that took a while.

    Typology test = INTJ
You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (89%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (50%)
You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (44%)

    Personal DNA = considerate thinker

Enneagram Test = 9w1 (probably; the instinctual variant test gave me 6w7, though type 9 was the second highest and pretty close to type 6)

So Peacemaker with a hint of the Reformer.

    The Peacemaker description is...pretty accurate.

GG, I am an ADVOCATING DREAMER
    you are a dreamer

Your combination of abstract thinking, appreciation of beauty, and cautiousness makes you a DREAMER.

You often imagine how things could be better, and you have very specific visions of this different future.

Beauty and style are important to you, and you have a discerning eye when it comes to how things look.

Although you often think more broadly, you prefer comfort to adventure, choosing to stay within the boundaries of your current situation.

Your preferences for artistic works are very refined, although you vastly prefer some types and styles to others.

Though your dreams are quite vivid, you are cautious in following up on them.

You are aware of both your positive and negative qualities, so that your ego doesn't get in your way.

A sense of vulnerability sometimes holds you back, stifling your creative tendencies.

You're not one to force your positions on a group, and you tend to be fair in evaluating different options.

You're not afraid to let your emotions guide you, and you're generally considerate of others' feelings as well.

You have a strong sense of style and value your personal presentation - friends may even seek your style advice from time to time.

Generally, you believe that you control your life, and that external forces only play a limited role in determining what happens to you.

    you are advocating

Being social, empathic, and understanding makes you ADVOCATING.

Some people find being around others exhausting—but not you! You are energized by spending time with friends, and you are good at meeting new people.

One of the reasons you enjoy conversation as much as you do is that you often learn about yourself while talking things out with a friend; you realize things about your own beliefs while discussing them with others.

You have insight into what others are thinking and feeling. This ability allows you to be happy for others, and to commiserate when something has gone wrong for them.

You are highly compassionate, and being conscious of how things affect those close to you leaves you cautious about trusting others too hastily.

Despite these reservations, you are open-minded when it comes to your worldview; you don't look to impose your ways on others.

Your sensitivity towards others' plights contributes to an understanding—both intellectual and emotional—of many different perspectives.

As someone who understands the complexities of the world around you, you are reluctant to pass judgments.

Unhealthy persons of this subtype become increasingly paranoid and obsessed with maintaining their security, and may go to great lengths to protect their position. They are extremely needy, and may abuse alcohol or other drugs as a way of dealing with anxiety and paranoid delusions, as well as bolstering their inferiority feelings. The Five-wing adds elements of cynicism and nihilism to the fearful mentality of the unhealthy Six, resulting in growing isolation, desperation, and a capacity for sociopathic actions. Intense stress will likely lead to outbreaks of rage and extremely destructive behavior accompanies by breaks with reality. Self-sabotaging, self-destructive actions bring about humiliation and punishment to atone for guilt, although the extent and nature of their self-destructiveness will be hidden from others because of their reclusive nature. There may be strong propensity for violence as well as sadomasochistic tendencies in sexual expression. Murder and suicide are both real possibilities.

    N-no!

In its extreme form, the grip experience of Introverted Thinking types may manifest as a feeling of profound and infinite separateness from the whole of humanity. The ISTP or INTP is convinced that he or she is unloved and ultimately unlovable. Some relive childhood feelings of being extremely different from other children, marching to a different and unacceptable drummer, often with no clue about how others see things. The memory of childhood misery and helplessness may intensify the adult's inferior function experience.

    :(

    and this
Effective dominant Extraverted Feeling types readily share their values with others and are comfortable expressing their emotions. In the grip of inferior Extraverted Feeling, Introverted Thinking types may not differentiate between the expression of Feeling values and the expression of emotion. We may witness confusion between Feeling as a judging function and emotion as a state of physiological arousal. Jung (1976b) was explicit in his differentiation of the two:

What I mean by feeling in contrast to thinking is a judgment of value; agreeable or disagreeable, good or bad, and so on. Feeling so defined is not an emotion or affect, which is, as the words convey, an involuntary manifestation. Feeling as I mean it is a judgment without any of the obvious bodily reactions that characterize an emotion. Like thinking, it is a rational function. (p. 219)

Nevertheless, it appears true that dominant Thinking types, especially those who favor Introversion, do not have ready access to their emotions when they are operating in their habitual, dominant mode. Often they report not knowing or being able to describe a feeling at the time it is occurring. Some INTPs, however, report being able to infer the presence of a feeling by attending to intuitive cues; it may be recounted later in Thinking, analytical terms. They fear that once in the realm of intense emotion, they may become possessed by it and never be able to get out. That is why descending into the depths is rare and entered into against the will of the Introverted Thinking type.

sum up the days where i get bad moods lately

That enneagram test is pretty cool, but I can't help but think of cold reading when I go through the different descriptions. It seems like every personality I get a halfway decent score at has enough stuff that feels just right mixed with lots of stuff that sort-of-works that I get suspicious.

Every time I do one of these reminds me that I really should start looking for a therapist. I just don't know where to start looking.

Parents are bad, but someone you're dating and eventually your spouse is altogether a new level of pain.

I taught Mrs. Hunter to drive while we were in college. Holy shit was that experience traumatic. What made things worse was I passed the written test and then the driving portion of the test on the first try. She had to take the written test twice. Then she failed the driving portion right near when her learner permit was about to expire, so she had to apply for another one, wait a week, and then try again.

She failed the parallel parking part of the course. I took her to a parking lot and set up a duplicate test with some plastic drums and she argued and argued about how it's stupid, impossible, and even I couldn't do it in only 3 back ups. Like a moron I got in the driver's seat and did it in one...she was not pleased with me for several days.

I've been driving for several years now and I still pretty much can't parallel park if anyone else is in the car. Everything else I can do, and I can usually pull it off if I'm alone, but with other people watching I'll fail twice and then tell them I'll join them inside in a minute.
