I am shy and retiring and they are authoritative and stuff. lol.

Hah, the mods are nice folk, don't be scared of them. It's their job to make sure this place runs smoothly for everyone, sticky-ing threads is part of that.

cause that's what most of my secret plans involve.

yeah, we had good food there back in 2010.

It appears they do indeed take reservations.

oh boy do I get to meet McD?

(have I met you before I forget)

I still have incriminating photos from last year's party!

Probably won't go to the convention itself, too crowded.

I don't know, I'll call tomorrow to see if they do. Wherever we choose to go (still waiting on everyone else to chime in before we pick a place) hopefully we'll be able to set reservations by this week Friday at the very very latest, I'd prefer Wednesday just to be on the safe side.

Ah, this is what I get for not reading the whole thread before responding.

Good to know they take reservations. Now to wait and see what everyone else wants to eat.

I'm down with mexicans, as long as we aren't giving them citizenship. Wait I may have misread this question.

I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

Mexican is fine with me. Should ensure that we don't have any hungry picky eaters.

  • PreacherPreacher Registered User regular
Not true, you can starve yourself at a mexican joint, I found this out at a joint in redmond between the low food quantity and high prices, that was the hungriest I've ever left a restaurant.

Madness. I can only assume it was some kind of predatory place out to screw over ignorant tech workers from other countries that weren't aware that refried beans and rice are cheaper than clean air.

I was indeed present last year.

I was the one being molested by kakos.

Wait, that doesn't narrow it down much...

Yeah, you could have just stopped at "I was indeed present last year."

Mexican sounds good to me. But there are, indeed, some fucking terrible Mexican places in Seattle. I've never been to this one in particular, but if it's in Pacific Place, there's a good chance it will be overpriced, but good.

  • PasserbyePasserbye I am much older than you. in Beach CityRegistered User regular
Yeah, Mexico's a little overpriced, but the portions are nice enough that it makes up for it. And the food tastes pretty good.

  • SchrodingerSchrodinger Registered User regular
How far are people willing to travel?

  • HacksawHacksaw J. Duggan Esq. Wrestler at LawRegistered User regular
    And there's unlimited delicious breadsticks.

  • ahavaahava Call me Ahava ~~She/Her~~ Move to New ZealandRegistered User regular

Sounds like Mexico it is then.

I'll wait until this time tomorrow to see how many (give people time to chime in), then I'll make the reservations.
