ORIGINAL POAST: EA had its own press conference during GDC, but everybody who attended was forced to write NDA. Well, about six hours ago, someone broke his NDA and leaked list of news to messageboards in Digitalguilds. Though list isn't officially confirmed, GoNintendo's owner, Rawmeatcowboy (who attended the EA's press conference), said one site has broken its NDA.
* fake list removed *
CORRECTION: List that I originally posted is false and made by random spanish guy named menacol. But.. what site has leaked the news? I have no reason to believe that RMC would lying about this, because he was on the press conference. Here is what Rawmeatcowboy said:
Second, a certain site has broken their NDA and talked about a bit of EA news. This is being lumped in with a bit of news concerning a mic for the Wii. We already knew that a microphone was heading to the Wii via High School Musical (which has one packed in). The second part is a major break of NDA. Everyone that was with me at the EA event signed the NDA as well, and we can’t talk about this game. I won’t be posting on it, or discussing it in any way. PLEASE keep from commenting about the site in question, or the news if you have heard it. We don’t want to get in any trouble with EA, which we had the pleasure of building some great relationships with during the week.

Wait. So, if the list is false, is any of this actually true, other then there being a mic for the Wii?
It's true that someone has broke NDA, and revealed EA's big secret. But the list that appeared on the first poast was fake, and I'm terribly sorry for this mistake. Here is what Rawmeatcowboy said:

No, it doesn't. What's this "second bit" that was a breach of the NDA?
I'm wondering that too. RMC won't tell what site leaked the news or what they are, but from what I have gathered from GoNintendo's comments, it was one of the bigger sites. Probably 1UP.

Listening to the 1up yours podcast last night Shane mentioned an EA dancing game a few times that I hadn't heard of, and later N'gai Croal who was a guest made a passing reference to EA wii commitment and said "I know Shane mentioned it but I'm under NDA." something along those lines. So I'm thinking it would be that.
EDIT: N'gai's comments come at 1:02:41 in the podcast. Shane's are earlier in that show at some point.

That's interesting, as EA is going to be publishing MTV Networks and Harmonix next title. Even before there was official announcement, there was rumours that EA Montreal (EA's Wii-studio) was working on new rhythm game.
So, why would someone risk breaking their NDA for some games that, let's be honest, aren't going to be particular ground-breaking? I mean the microphone sounds pretty funky but Harry Potter? C'mon. If you're going to break your NA at least make it something good.

Maybe the person doesn't like EA or Wii and wants to spoil the surprise, like Kotaku did with Sony's "Home", only with more malicious fan intent and less jornalistic integrity.
Honestly though, i'd chalk it up to booze or just not caring (despite obvious reprocussions). We know there's more than enough booze going around at GDC to make Reggie sing Temptations' greatest hits, so why not some shmoe breaking the silence on a topic amazingly non megaton-esque while under the influence of 4 Guiness pints, 14 grey goose shots, and a mind probing party goer?
And from the suggestion that 1up possibly leaked the news, they were all sloshed as fuck at the parties and elsewhere, so they're just as likely as anyone else.

And a mic for the Wii? I'm not sure what the system needs now is more gimmicks.
But I guess it'll only be for EA games.
Still not friend codes though. More companies should look into this.
Mic is actually confirmed, and comes with Disney's High School Musical game.
I thought it would come out on it's own or with a good game

I'm confused.
Read post above, it explains everything.

Sounds interesting, but not what I was hoping for.
edit: oh, ok. Harry Potter. Cool. Isn't that what we were all kinda hoping for someday?

Exactly why I kept it up, and why I'm disappointed it's possibly just mic use in a harry potter game.
(First to do a mock screenshot wins the thread.)
