So se, I'm at work, batman the dark knight rises unlocks to watch in like two hours. So I'm here with a girl I like. We've been drinking all through batman begins and dark knight, I asked her out abd she kind of rejected me, sort of. She avoided the topic so I take that as a no. So were here, drinking, and it feels awkward and im dumb. How are you se?

As for this, I may have written it about 3/4th into a liter of rum. Sorry folks. the real problem was the reason WHY she said no, which she told a mutual friend who told me, appearently I have ruined my life and want everyones pity. Which, looking at this post, maybe shes right? that makes it worse.
Oh and Batman! Its like climbing a mountain. You start climbing, and its rough, you get that a lot of work went into this climb, but why is this so special? Then about a third of the way up, you take a break, you look out over the landscape, and its ok. Nothing breathtaking. The climb gets harder, the 2/3rds point, you stop again, its better, way better then all the way down there, but still, nothing special. The final ascent, somehow, is easier, things just start to click, maybe your getting better, maybe your adrenaline is kicking in, but its just really fun all the sudden. Then you get to the top, look at the horizon, take a breath and realize that the whole thing was amazing and in front of you is this beautiful thing.
I cried.

My thoughts, and the thoughts of my friend, exactly. I do not have a reason why she thinks this, but man F her if this is the case. I do nothing but stick my neck out for people at work and use my "clout" with our boss to constantly save their asses. I don't like my job, but by no means is it a dead end. She did say something about me not being graduated from college yet, but as shes only 18 and starting school in the fall, I think shes in for a surprise.

All in all it was an ok night. I saved a friend from sleeping with his ex and thus ruining his current relationship. So thats a plus.
