I am really hating this Jayce where you can't use certain skills unless you die. It seems random what skills might get locked, sometimes it's only one skill in one stance, sometimes it's 5 skills and recall too. Only skill to not get locked so far is stance swap.
Nidalee should start at level 6 in Dominion so I can justify going bot lane without being babysat by a ganker from 3-6 because the lane's gonna be hella pushed.

It's really depressing having bad games on my not super tryhard champs and having to recover by breaking out the tryhard champs and dominating. Can't I find a happy medium?

Play extremely passive for the first few minutes, and pop a Garrison to clear the wave of minions that reaches your turret. That should get you roughly to 6, at which point you pounce your opponent and kill them because they are overextended.
Also consider running Experience quints. Just tested real quick - they get you level 4 by the time you cap bot, level 6 by around the 3 minute mark/when the first minion push reaches your turret. Level advantage is actually pretty important to Nidalee - one reason why she always solos on SR, and she normally misses out on it when playing Dominion.
Not sure how you like to build her, but a first-buy Brutalizer could make a good compliment to this tactic. It makes Takedown do genuinely insane amounts of damage.
I have 6300 and I need a good top or jungle, or someone who can do both. Someone versatile. I don't really have any tops except...Garen and Kayle, and my jungles are basically Mundo, WW and Jax.
I have Riven on my other account so I don't really want her again. Any suggestions?

Malphite? Singed I guess too though I don't know how well his Jungle is even though I've seen it occasionally.

Malphite, Shen, Udyr, Lee Sin? Also Cho if you like eating people.

WW and Jax are pretty good top-laners. Mundo's not bad either -- trades like a boss with E, but secretly pines for the fjords jungles.
Malphite, Udyr, Lee Sin, Olaf, Cho'gath would all be solid choices if you want somebody who can top or jungle. There are plenty of others too. Xin Zhao is incredibly fun and strong out of the jungle as well. He's a strong top too, but I prefer him out of the jungle.

Nautilus is good at both. Kayle does fine at both, with the caveat that she's a little blue dependent. Don't pick Cho, he's not in a great spot right now.
Is gangplank still any good? I used to love jungling with him. I've been beaten top by him a few times. He always seems to do well up there at the least.

The mana refund helped a good deal. He's still not spectacular IMO.
I don't normally engage in the back and forth shit talk with the other team but last Dom I played I just had to. Pre-game the other team's akali was calling out my fizz, some shit about how I was going to get hard countered, shut down, etc. basically none of my tricks would work against her.
I didn't respond at the time because I was kind of freaking out about it. It was maybe my third fizz game and I didn't know if the akali was full of shit or not.
Fast forward to mid-game and I'm stomping this akali without trying. She's tunneled on me and I'm just hopping around attacking her teammates until all her cooldowns are down and then it's all spears to the face and shark attacks. I lost a couple fights but not enough for her to feel good about. My team is absolutely ripping her and when she tried to backpedal in chat I pointed out I was up 7 kills on her. Face.
Then the next akali I saw was on SR and I got destroyed.

Trying to rededicate myself to the way of Fizz. It's hard to curb my enthusiasm -- I had 10 deaths in the last game I won, which is like 8 deaths too many.
Nice thing about Fizz is he can totally come back from a bad start, if the game lasts long enough. Those ratios with Lichbane.

Jungle Olaf is a straight-up inferior position to Top Olaf, and by a wide margin, at the moment.
Top Olaf has matchups he can lose, and jungle Olaf is a beast. I use TheOddOne's new jungle olaf setup which he copied from NintendudeX, which runs utility masteries for CDR and armor pen, with a full armor pen page, and maxing Q, and his clear speed is otherwordly, and his counter jungling speed and ability to kill many enemy junglers, especially tanky CC junglers is pretty ridiculous. Early game his Qs are pretty much true damage due to the armor pen setup, and then you mix brutallizer in with your wriggle's and phage and it's on.
Jungle Olaf is great to run if you want to counter jungle a tanky CC jungler, but want the late game anti carry of Olaf as opposed to running another good counter jungler.
Fizz was one of those champs I got tired of losing to and just bought on a whim to try and figure out why. I never really figured it out but I can't put him down

I stand corrected, I suppose. I've seen a great many terrible and ineffective jungle Olaf players lately, though, so it's not like I pulled that out of the ether. If there's a right way to jungle him it doesn't appear to have been widely disseminated, at least.

I will say I find him much easier to fail with as a jungler than some of the other counter junglers, like Mundo, Shyvana, or Udyr. You have to understand what you can and can't do with him to excel, and honestly, it doesn't surprise me to hear you've seen a bunch of bad ones, because he's harder to play effectively in the jungle than many characters imo. You have to balance clear speed with mana after the first blue, you need to actually counter jungle and try to kill their jungler if he's somebody you can do it to like a nautilus or maokai, and you have to be able to land axes to gank.
I only really play him if they pick Nautilus, Maokai, Amumu, somebody like that and I want to counter jungle hard and I feel like using the Brolaf skin, haha. It also depends on your team comp. I won't run him if my team doesn't really need him to play anti carry, and I can go Mundo for an even safer counter jungler. My favorite teams to play him into are ones with Ashe AD carries, because in team fights she has no answer to ghost/ult Olaf just pushing her out of the fight.

I only take jungle Olaf if I see something retarded on the enemy team like Amumu+Sona/Janna+Veigar that the team needs someone who can just run through that to get to the carries.
10 minute load times aren't fun. I'm the ngage player now.
Tried a couple bot games. Takes forever to load. 2 - 3 took forever but loaded at beginning. One of them didn't load me into game until 2:30 of game time. Wonder if there's anything I can do until I get my new pc.
Also, played anivia in all 3 bot games. Wow her AA takes some getting used to. Built tear, boots 2, death cap in all 3 games, then started finishing tear off.
Build sound right? Pinp cump instead of AA staff now? How do you want to approach team fights? I'm guessing you wall then R, Q, E as appropriate
Anivia uses so much mana, many top tier players get both catalyst and tear. Pimp cup is good, and can actually benefit you more if you have a larger mana pool, but you will put damage off for so looooooooong.
Chalice regenerates mana in a larger mana pool faster because it works based on the % of mana you have left, not the numerical value.
I just gotta vent for hilarity's sake. I pick Cassi for mid, and get counterpicked as Talon. Immediately my entire team (including me) is all "Oh crap we're scewed." I manage to out cs talon and never die to him once. Bot decides to put on a buffet which Talon decides to visit a few times, and that's now my fault. The Alistair @ bot decides to freak out on me, then ignores everyone on the team when someone else backs me up that I've held my ground against a pretty good counterpick and am doing my job. Damn I love people!
But you, pig, are a lucky one. Tell us what we wish to know, and you may yet keep your bacon.

On the other hand, Anivia's base damage and the way her skills work if they land is really good, so she can sort of afford to that.

also scorched earth xerath might take the cake for most new effects on a non-legendary (OKAY party fiddle)

Yes. Be awesome with everyone.
nah, it matters just as much because you have to carry harder when your team is worse
