I need the name of a good electric razor. My old one broke and i couldn't find replacement blades anywhere. So I tried to go back to shaving with shaving cream and a regular razor but my face broke out like mad. I tried a couple face washes and after shaves but nothing is working. So can anyone recommend me a good electric razor that doesnt irrate skin too much but also is fast and efficient. Thanks
This is an area where you want to spend money. A good razor will not only leave you almost as smoothe as a blade, but will last for years.
Personally, I have a Braun Synchro. Its the type that has a cleaning system in its charging base. I rarely use cleaning aspect, it simply runs the razor in a denatured alcohol solution (you have to buy cartridges every once in a while).
It also has a trimmer that extends to trim sideburns, nether regions, etc.
I think it usually goes for about $100, I got it way cheaper (I used to work at a pharmacy), but it is even worth the full price.
KEEP IN MIND
You need to give your hair/skin time to adjust to an electric if you have been using a blade. Usually a week or so. During this time your skin might get a bit irritated, and the shave won't be as close.
To get the best shave out of an electric, make sure your skin is dry, and not greasy. The best shaves come after washing your face, or taking a shower.
I have this and it works absolutely perfect. I don't know why Amazon lists it so expensive, I could've sworn I saw this thing at Target for like $140 or maybe less.

YES!
This is the next generation of the razor I mentioned. If anything it should work better than the one I have.
