It's probably due to my genetics that I absolutely love and want to do adventure/extreme sports in the future.

I mean look at this shit

climbing.jpg

that's fucking crazy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUEZCxBcM78&feature=related

shit's pretty cool

I plan on trying a bunch of stuff like this pretty soon, specifically mountain biking and mountain climbing (maybe I just like mountains).

What adventure sports do you do SE++? Which ones would you like to try?

What sweet areas or spots have you found in your adventures that you'd like to share with the class? Any cool pictures?

I do enjoy rock climbing and multi-day hikes and the like, and kayaking/canoeing, but I've seen too much damage done by mountain bikers to woodland, grassland and mountain sides to view it with anything other than contempt.

I'm so ready for ski season. But that's not really extreme, since I don't do it on, say, a live volcano or anything.

I plan to make GoPro videos set to Skrillex, does it get any more adventurous than that?

I downhill/freeride longboard, which is the antithesis of the guys with mall boards who carry the damn things half the time.
Hitting 30 mph on a piece of machined wood is crazy stuff.

My main board is a Clutch Lambchop. Outstanding micro-drop symmetrical deck.

I've had a few nasty crashes but knowing how to bail right really is a lifesaving reflex, and one I have mastered.

pooping is my extreme sport. I use to like rollar coasters and really want to hang glide one day, but I'll have to drop 80-90 pounds before then

That said, I like my wheels to be fat enough to breeze over pebbles for a reason.

Those wheels are a hair under 70mm in this picture and they've worn down a little since. I don't entirely thrash my wheels to the core every few weeks like some of my buddies do, but they do wear in a bit.

Shit, even I'm working on the balance bit and I do it regularly.

I have one friend who's sixteen and near pro. Like, I have seen him do a hang ten nose slide. That's a trick that I didn't even know could be done.

It's not really a sport but urban exploration looks pretty cool. I'm lazy as shit and I live in a small town with nothing left to explore (I did all that as a kid/teenager) so I've never really done it but if I lived in a city I would consider it.

Or if I lived near an abandoned missile silo, I'd be hella down for that.

I've been wanting to try rock climbing. Taking an intro class in the fall for one credit, that's gonna be fun.

Watching downhill mountain-biking videos is always fun. Those dudes are much crazier than I.

I plan on learning to snowboard this coming winter, hopefully somewhere in Colorado or Utah for a nice getaway.

Fuck me it's not cheap. Anyone recommend a quality resort that won't annihilate my wallet?

I do some climbing. And I like doing some hiking. And I want to get into slacklining but just don't have the time.

When I get my own place I kinda want to set up a slacklinein the backyard and a little bouldering wall to practice on.
