I'm at 30/110 ranks and I've sunk a pretty good amount of time into the game. Not nearly as much as folks like Curly, but I've got to be pretty far out on the time-spent-in-multiplayer curve. Other than by cheating ("cheating"?) via coalesced hacks, it takes a tremendous amount of time to even get to 60/110...
It's interesting that you say that because I have twice as many URs as you and when I think of people that have ALL of the URs that's one of two thoughts that come to mind. The other being that they must have spent a lot more money than I'm interested in spending to get there.
But it really is up to the whims of the RNG. One night I only made enough credits to get 3 packs. I got 2 URs from those three packs... Other nights I've had similar results (6 out of 8, etc). Every now and then I buy-buy packs but I'm not really as hung up on microtransactions as some are. Cashing out my credits the past few nights has only yielded 1 UR though, so I guess the status quo is catching up to me.

Earlier it was ~10% rate in URs; around Resurgence they seem to have increased the drop rate to ~15%.
In my mass pack buys I saw ~15% at Resurgence's release and ~20% at Earth's release.
Assume for now that since Resurgence, it's been a 15%. On average, that's 733 PSPs purchased to get 110 ranks. That's 73.3 million credits spent. On average! It's unlikely, but still possible that some unlucky bastard has spent 50 million credits without getting a single UR.
That's ~556 Platinum clears. Or 991 Gold clears. Both assuming maximum credits earned per clear.
Assuming 30 minutes per Platinum (again, for ease of calculation. I have no idea what the average clear time is, having never run Platinum), you're looking at almost 280 hours of play, assuming every single run is a clear.
Every single new UR adds ~67 new PSPs to buy to max it out if we're assuming a 15% drop rate...

Wow... my team of pubbies just failed on wave 3 of silver...
It was an assassination wave,
Edit: failed as in THE CLOCK RAN OUT.

Almost had that happen in Bronze with my noob buddy and two randoms. We were slaughtering everything and the two random chucklefucks went down three times going after the first target. While playing as Krogans.
Yeah, after that one wave, my friend and I refused to res them. If you can't survive as a Krogan on Bronze and your N7 level is over 400, you deserve to die and have your Xbox explode.

Man, I've been debating if I should go back and grind out the last 3 achievements I need for ME1 before I finish my Insanity run of ME3, and thus have the entire trilogy at 100% completion.
But the last 3 I need are Damping, Hacking and Singularity. Any advice on how to go about doing this?
Config.ini if you don't mind doing that. If you want it the honest way, I guess maybe do pinnacle station and spam those abilites?

You just need to use those powers on a target 150 (or whatever) times. Since you don't have those achievements, you don't have those powers as bonus powers, which means you'll just need to grind them out with an Engineer and an Adept.
You don't have to kill the target with those powers, just have the powers hit the target I believe. Singularity you might be able to just fire off; I don't know.
Either way, it should only take you a few hours if it's that important to you.
It isn't nearly as annoying as getting the 75% of the game achievement with every single one of your squaddies.

Finally got Destoryer.
And with this...I have unlocked every N7 character.
As far as colors go, I only have Destroyer left and the last two that I just can't seem to get for male Infiltrator.

Yeah, I did the last of those (Liara) back in February.
I remember being able to cheese some of the power use abilities by targeting the Mako with some of them. Do any of these fall under that?
So, parsing out what I actually have left to acquire...
Weapons
Ultra-Rare: 76 (not counting Collector Rifle, which I don't think can be acquired in packs)
The Collector Plasma Rifle?
Yeah, you can get them out of packs
wasted an UR slot on it
Nope. Only if you buy ME3-branded Razer gear.
This is bugging me a little: What rifle are you referring to @Ender...because there is no "Collector Plasma Rifle" in the game. There's a Particle Rifle (which is an ultra-rare...but it's not entirely terrible if you toss it on a Destroyer), there's a Geth Pulse Rifle (which is crap...but I think it's only a rare), and there's the Collector Rifle. The Collector Rifle is listed under Promotional in the manifest, so there is literally no way to get higher ranks unless you buy the promotional items that have the cards in them (in this case, only Razer's ME3 branded accessories).
And the Collector Rifle blows. I have a II (yeah, I bought the Chimaera headset and I love Onzas, so why not pick up another one?) and I once got dropped into a lobby with a guy with a Collector Rifle X. That fucker is crazy.

I've found the rifle is pretty decent if it's equipped on a Turian soldier (scoped rifle + Marksman turns the rifle into a beam of death). Admittedly, this only works if the person playing the Turian doesn't have a Typhoon. In any other situation, I've found the advantages of the Collector Rifle (namely, accuracy and rate of fire) are completely trumped by the Particle Rifle.
That being said, I've been eyeballing the Chimaera for my 360...but it's kinda hard to justify the price when nobody in the game talks (at least, I haven't actually heard anybody talk aside from me).

I want the particle rifle badly. My Shep used it pretty much exclusively. Even though it apparently isn't that good in multiplayer, it would still be nice to have.

Man, I was hella upset yesterday, for whatever reason on Reactor Geth Gold, on wave 6 with the targets eliminated goal, I fired and another teammate fired at the same time, but it screwed up my missiles so that when I fired them later to help out, they never connected or did any damage. What the hell?
It really does feel like all the silver pubs have moved up to gold now, because everyone still tried to go off and solo when you're just killing yourself.
I'll be honest; I got the ME3 Chimaera just because it looks cool. If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably pick up the regular one since it's cheaper. But the sound quality is pretty amazing and if you're playing with friends across a variety of games, it's totally worth it.
Hey, do Onzas work on the PC? I was thinking of getting a gamepad at some point (I have a game or two bought cheap on Steam that would be better played with a gamepad) and I may as well get one that will get me free stuff in Mass Effect :-P
Well I don't care about playing ME3 with a controller. Who the hell would want to? Mouse + keyboard are infinitely better. But for MLB2K12 a controller might be the way to go.
Yes, Onza's work on PC. That's actually why I bought my ME3 Onza (aside from getting a Collector Rifle, that is :P ) The only issue I have with it is the second row of bumpers (there are a total of four bumpers)...I haven't gotten over my laziness to retask those to any particular keystroke.
You are correct, it still doesn't work. But, this is fine by me. Since I started playing ME3 on 360, I've noticed something alarming: you cannot storm while making a turn greater than about 30-45 degrees without the storm breaking. I've actually been sync killed many times by banshees because of this...and it pisses me off so much. Also, despite using pro-levels of finger yoga, you cannot look around while storming (apparently storming disables the right analog stick).

There was someone with an N7 level of 9865 in my random Gold just now. I mean..jeez. Get a life.
Also in that match, I got everyone's favorite Vanguard bug in wave 5 and disconnected and wave 6. God fucking damnit.
Now I remember why I don't play as often anymore.

I think the highest N7 rating I've ever seen was in the upper 10,000s. Those numbers make me think one of two things are happening: 1) cheating, 2) a Battlefield Friends: Colonel 100 situation

I could imagine using the 360 controller for a Mass Effect SP run. I'm guessing if you were to use it in MP your teammates would wonder why you're such a poor shot.
Oh good, any difficulty. Bronze extraction = no real work on my part :P
Finding a new Earth character game might be annoying though. Sure wish I had one myself *grumble*

Nope I'm on 360 :P My main problem is I only have one level 20 thanks to all the damn "Promote your guys" weekends
I'll probably end up playing Silver though. That's *usually* not too terrible to pug.
So I thought I saw this before, and definitely saw it last night... I am definitely missing several characters - all 6 of the Earth characters among them. Last night, bought a specter pack. Obviously, one of the cards in there should have been a character that I've already unlocked all the appearance options for. So I get some lvl IV equipment. While this is cool, I would have preferred to get one of the characters I do not yet have. Why did this not occur to whoever came up with this "fix" to the recurring character card problem? For crying out loud, I still don't have a FQE!!! Granted, she's the only original character I'm still missing - but if I'm missing any characters, and I pull a character card, I should get a character I'm missing, not some lvl IV equipment.
And for the love of God - I wasted some equipment by queuing up for a Gold match and getting dropped into Wave 3 of a Bronze??? What the hell is up with that? At least it only last about 12 minutes from there... But there went the last of my Power Efficiency mods for the time being.

Well, shoot. On 360 I only have the older DLC characters: Batarian Sentinel (Bentinel?), MQE, and Kroguard. The RNG decided that I was not yet worthy for an N7 character.
