    Think it was going for emphasizing bg vs fg, and heights ~ kind of like dramatic lighting/camera angle except via simple saturation

    That was a pretty funny ending. I wasn't too fond of this arc though, because I never knew how to properly play the Pokemon TCG. I mean, I understood that it was about Gabe trying to help his son win in the Pokemon tournament, but I didn't get some of the things they were saying, like in the first part where they're discussing card types and energy cards, I didn't see how that was a concern because I never knew what the fuck the energy cards did, and I didn't see how a variety of Pokemon types were a concern because in the video games, I could win tournaments or gym battles using a variety of Pokemon.
