I have a buddy that let me borrow his Wii for spring break. He's left town, so I picked it up at his house, and locked the door behind me. Didn't grab any games. Whoops. So, can I rent Wii games? I've only had time to call a local place; and, they didn't rent them out. Have not had a chance to call Blockbuster, etc... yet.
Recommendations for rentals? I'll probably have the Wii for 4 or 5 days, and I work 40 hours Mon through Fri.
For a couple of days of Wii-ing, I'd suggest Excite Truck, Rayman, maybe Super Swing Golf or Tiger Woods that comes out this week. Other games like Sonic and SSX Blur are shit-hot, but they do have a bit of a learning curve, and by the time you get used to the controls you'll probably have to give the games and console back. Same with Zelda, which is good but epic.
It's a shame you didn't get Wii Sports -- it was custom-built for a situation like yours.
Locally (in New Bern, NC), both the Blockbuster and Hollywood Video have been carrying Wii games since around the time the system came out. So far though, Hollywood Video has had the better selection, and they seem to get new games on the shelves quicker than Blockbuster. I don't think Blockbuster has gotten the idea yet that the Wii is slaughtering the PS3 in sales yet, and still has a tiny section put away to the Wii, like the Gamecube.

Anyways, tl;dr, Hollywood Video, best choice.
