I don't think I'd call any of those traditional jrpg's. At all. I mean, Nier?
Do check them out as you might like them - VC has a demo on the PSN - but they're not what you appear to be looking for, so I wouldn't rush out and buy them.
Infinite Undiscovery (i think?) is pretty turn based, it's western though. But that might just be for 360... i forget. However, i don't know if it's a glitch in the game or i am a silly goose, but i can't seem to get into the last dungeon.
The last remnant is... something. (i didn't like it)
I know what you mean, sometimes i just want a good ol turn based RPG without all these crazy battle systems that i tend to lose track of.
I haven't played any of the dragon quests. /hides.
I think I might get I to them I kinda forgot about them.
When kotor was released on the original Xbox it kind of ruined jrpgs for me but now that all western RPGs for the most part are shooters I want to go back to my rpg roots
This is one of my favorite games of all time (lol avatar), but it's only on the Xbox over here; we may never get the Japanese PS3 version. Tales of Graces f is on the PS3, though I didn't like it as much.

Whoops. I've got it on the XBox and saw "tales of vesperia ps3" in google's auto-complete and just assumed that meant it existed. :P

Oh, Tales of Vesperia PS3 totally does exist, but it's almost certainly never (legally) coming out in English. Probably because of this. Thanks Microsoft!

wasn't that PS2? and yeah, Nier and Valkyria Chronicles are definitely not JRPGS. VC is awesome though. Nier, not so much.
