Basically, anyone know what centre is the best of the best in terms of getting laser eye surgery? I heard Lasik MD is good, but doesn't have the latest technology. There is also YELC, Bochner, Herzig, and god knows how many more.
Is there like the best of the best? I am willing to pay a little more to get the best. Price does not matter so much. Just experience of the doctors, plus the best tech.
I had mine done about 5 years ago with Lasik MD. I was nearsighted enough that I needed to wear glasses to drive. I have not thought too much about it since, to be honest, so my contribution is only anecdotal.
All I know is at the time they had 2 methods of laser correction, and I opted for the "best" and "most expensive" one. It was still pretty reasonable compared to the other places I looked into, no pun intended. I had no noticeable side effects, and my night vision is fine.
Seconding a good experience with Lasik MD (in Mississauga).
Because of my pupil size, I basically had no choice but to get the Custom Wavefront (which I would've gotten anyway). It was about 20% less expensive than some of the other places I went to.

This wavefront stuff seems cool though.
