360 Backwards Comnpatability Problems

Just bought Fable. Disk is flawless, not a scratch on it, but my 360 wont play the damn game. Says "Reading..." for a few minutes then it says "Unplayable Disk". I have Xbox Live and my connection is active and working so if it needed to download any update or anything it ought to be able to do that. It's listed on the supported games list. Anyone have any ideas? :(

    Try switcing your 360 from vertical to horizontal (or vice versa). Whilst it's switched off entirely, obviously.

    I have no idea why this works sometimes, but true enough, it does indeed wor sometimes.
