But Portal 2 gets special mention because as soon as the game starts they introduce you to a character that is somehow even more grating and "witty" than GlaDOS

It is almost impressive
I wouldn't be able to sleep at night having as awful opinions as what you seem to have
Like, GlaDOS wasn't even written to be witty
You are like the parents that just don't understand
But lines like "We'll try to give you useful advice. The floor here will kill you. Please try to avoid it" delivered in that deadpan style
I bet someone at Valve just felt really fucking good about themselves after writing something like that, like "Get it? The computer is saying maniacal things in an innocent tone, that's so hilarious!"
@Stilts@Speed Racer@Olivaw, when are you dudes available to do a podcast again? I'd like to restart it, maybe make it a monthly thing?
I'm going to be starting a job soon and i'm not sure what the schedule will be, but for the time being i am basically free all day every day
I'm almost always free on Tuesdays. And I've recently started to work mostly evening shifts, so pretty much any weekday could potentially work as long as we do it around noon MST.
Though since I'd like it to be a monthly thing, it wouldn't be that hard to just mark whatever day we choose on the day-off calendar.

Brad is my favorite Giant Bombardier.
my favorite thing about vinny is that when he talks people LISTEN
there's a point where he starts talking hard about both games and brad tries to interrupt him like he likes to do when he's arguing
and vinny is like (this is close to verbatim) "I'm gonna tell you about my experience now"
and brad just shuts the fuck up
and it's the best moment

that dude is all man, through and through
yeah when vinny gets real old and has like grandkids and shit
dude gonna get mad family respect through voice alone
that was a real fun game y'all, though the last few levels kind of strayed from what made the rest of the game super badass. still fun, though
outfit system is bonkers dumb as well but fuck it is $15 and worth every little bit of it
I was all excited that I unlocked the Silence costume but it "doesn't have room for a sword"
I'll use it on my second run but right now I want all the kills
but they really should have just been cosmetic, i think
I'm still waiting for the podcast with Vinny and his dad
But in terms of replay value, no question Saints Row
I still play that game at least every week
Still have it saved to the parachute to Power part
Steam
yup
that's a good game
not listening to any of your nonsense anymore
Man, that thing wouldn't have even made my top 20 list.
like how does your mind even work

you have to be doing this on purpose now
you have to
What a shame.
Man it is not a secret at all that I think Valve is pretty much the most overrated developer out there
Valve games are boring games full of boring characters
Portal had a neat gameplay gimmick but it didn't even stay fresh for the entirety of the three hours that game lasted
Shine on like the star you are.
i can tell you aren't dumb
so the only answer left is you've lost your mind

a guy who saw Transformers 2 in the cinemas twelve damn times
a guy who only argued about the worth of films based on their box office
'nobody can have opinions this insane', I thought
but now a new champion has come
Three times or so tops, then just wait for the damn DVD.
this is legit the worst thing I've seen you say and I've seen you say "fuck dogs"

sort of that half-nervous laughing that gets caught in the back of your throat
