I'm looking for a watch that displays two time zones. Like I can set the primary time to say eastern time and the non-primary time to um Swedish time zone. It has to look semi-classy. Something I could wear with business clausal. Stop watch functions for additional bonus points!
Also I need something to remind me of things... a pager like device that goes "beep - you need to feed your cat or it'll die" and "beep - you have class today in an hour" and things like that. I forget easy. I need like a digital device that reminds me to do stuff like a nagging girlfriend, but portal-able. ^_^
That treo looks nice. I'll check it out at the cingular store. Luckily I already have phone service with them so could probably trade up with this and not violate any stupid contacts.
I had a cheap Timex when I was a kid that could have two separate times programmed into it, so I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find a nice one.
Also, be careful that you're on the time that you think you are, because I was late to many a things for thinking my watching was on primary when it was on secondary.
I use my Cellphone Calendar (Motorola V3 Razr) to remind me. It lets you set daily/weekly/monthly reminders, variable alert time (5 mins before, 10 mins, hours, days before), and you can assign individual ringtones for each even. I'm not sure if you can use voice recordings for alerts, but I wouldn't be surprised.
Also I think the motorola phonetools software (extra cost) lets you sync calendar and addressbook with a computer.
Yeah, a palm is best for scheduling stuff like that.
However, I have a six-year-old Timex Datalink that has ten alarms, two time zones, a timer and a chronometer, and cost me $30. I'm guessing Timex is probably still making something similar. You can check your alternate time zone with a single button press, without switching which one your watch defaults to. It's really nice.
