Building a new PC.. Feel like I'm severly outdated.

It's been awhile since I took the leap and built a new gaming PC. My old one is going on 4+ years, so I figured it's a good time to build one. However, it's been about six years since I've built a PC and technology has changed pretty rapidly. I'm wondering if this build is going to be good enough to last me another 4 years. I do some video editing/gaming if that helps all you brilliant PC builders out there.

I already own a Radeon 7950, a 500 GB SATA HD, a 1 TB USB 2.0 Hard drive, and 16 gigs of DDR3 RAM. All of this will be put over to the new computer. I'm not entirely sold on getting an SSD drive yet, but I've heard their worth it for recording/video editing/gaming. Not entirely sure though.

Thanks again for the help, if any. I appreciate it.

Eeeep. My worst fear, posting in the wrong forum on my FIRST post. D'oh. I will make a new post over there if a mod would kindly delete this one. Sorry!

Moe's forum is the much better place to ask. Us H/A'ers aren't nearly as awesome for build questions.
