So I bought a Slurpee at 7-11 yesterday for the first time in forever, and got some change. I was dumping out my pockets tonight, and a coin caught my eye.

It's an actual dime, but apparently it's missing the "head" side plating over the copper core. It's either a 2001D or a 2007D, apparently because it's thinner than a regular dime the die didn't stamp it as well so the markings around the edge are really light, both on the front and back.
So, any amateur numismatists care to harbor a guess as what it's worth? More than 10 cents I'm hoping?
I'm not sure if it's what you have there, but this site estimates a "Roosevelt Dime -copper-nickel" is worth about $8. Sounds like it could be it. It's a place to start at least.
I believe that machine error coins are quite quite rare and hunted after. This is based on a vague recollection of a documentary. I'd say that it's worth taking to a collector for a proper valuation.
Show it off online and at coin shows for the next decade. Let coin nerds write articles about it. Tell them it‘s one of a kind. Then, in 2027, sell it for a small fortune to collectors who have been salivating for years over your amazing dime.
